Checked in with Dawn to get the info on our upcoming stay. After a restful night sleep went on a guided fishing trip with Kent Keeler from Kab Outdoors. We were on fish immediately. Caught enough for several meals and Kent showed us a few more of his fishing spots that produced very nice fish during our own excursions. For...

We are so glad you enjoyed your vacation and were able to reel in all the fish you could handle! It's great to have a good day on the lake, but when you can be on the water and can get a trip to Kettle Falls in, it's like icing on the cake! We look forward to your next visit....

Great accommodations and wonderful staff. Just wish the fishing would have been better but lodge cannot control that. Really enjoyed the Moose cabin and the dock staff were amazing. Would go again. Beautiful lake.

I purchased this trip at a charity auction. Was I ever pleasantly surprised. The Lodge is on the shore of Lake Kabetogama inside of Voyageurs National Park. It is family run. Our 1932 cabin was newly renovated and very comfortable. The entire resort was clean and well maintained. The rental boats are excellent and there are new docks. The managers...

Like most others who are staying in the fall, I won a guided bear hunt at a fundraising auction in 2012. I drew a bear tag this year and was able to make the trip finally. The lodge manager was friendly and helpful, keeping in touch with us as we made our plans. She helped us with a late arrival...

We bought the trip for our annual Thielen Men fishing trip at auction via Pheasants Forever and upgraded our cabin to handle an extra person. We brought our own boat and made a late decision to rent another boat due to rough water on a large body of water and too many people to fish effectively. Even though the Driftwood...

Where to start? We planned this trip after winning the auction package through a Pennsylvania Ruffed Grouse Society banquet. At the time, we were planning a trip to Jamaica and I leaned over to my husband, Danny at the banquet and said, "I don't want to go to Jamaica. I want to go to Minnesota fishing." Thankfully, we won! I,...

We purchased this trip which was generously donated by the owners and subsequently auctioned at our local RMEF fundraiser banquet. We paid very near to full market value for it and I have to say it was worth every penny...and more. I was very surprised to see a couple negative reviews because our experience was top notch. We were informed...

When we first arrived the owners told us if we didn't like the fact there wasn't a dock for our boat to go back where we came from. When we called the number they had posted if we needed anything they would never answer. Our bed sheets was dirty and needed to be changed. The owners never answered or came...

We have over 400 cabin rentals a season. Unfortunately this particular guest was upset prior to ever arriving at our resort and appears to always be that way. Mother Nature hit us hard with a severe storm that's taken out all of our dock slips. We put in a boat ramp and are working on getting floating docks installed. We...

Hard to believe the negative reviews based upon our trip in late June-early July. Prior to arrival, we called and e-mailed various questions which were quickly and politely answered. Check-in (by Dawn) was a breeze. Our cabin was clean and everything worked. Our refrigerator wasn't quite level but was taken care of quickly after we mentioned it. We enjoyed our...

“Wifi slowed down quite a bit in the evening, so be prepared for that. TVs were old, so no option for HDMI cables or dongles to stream movies but each did have a dvd player if you bring along movies. Full size refrigerator and water heaters were great for a family.”
