We weren't sure we're we were headed. On these "God Getaways" we simply pack a bag, grab some cash, and head out the door. We went south from Tampa on I-75 and when we got to Ft Myers we hooked a right. Boogied down to Sanibel and Captiva and watched the dance of the moon and the stars from the...

We stayed at the Westin in Cape Coral for 4 nights, as part of a week's break in Florida. It's a good place to base yourself to explore the Gulf Coast if you're wanting to stay somewhere quiet yet relatively inexpensive. It's not got the glamour or beaches of Sanibel and Captiva; but they're only 40 mins drive. Also it...

It's a very nice, huge resort with lovely grounds, but if you only need one bedroom, you don't get a water view. Only the 2 & 3 bedroom units get the nice views. If you're getting a suite with a kitchen because you want to save money by making your own meals, good luck. Kitchens are not well supplied for...

I just loved staying here for the week. I was by myself but found it so relaxing. A beautiful resort, beautiful rooms, restaurants and shops. Clean, ample garage parking. Great free boat ride to Ft myers. Beautiful marina. I left my glass sliding doors open to the view all day long...music down below was perfect I cant wait to stay...

Great pool and hot tub here. Nothing extraordinary though. Located in a very nice area. We got a room that was advertised to sleep four, but it had two queen sized beds in one room. We also were told we were getting a kitchenette, but only got a countertop and miniature. We needed to use the sink in the bathroom...

Stayed for a week in a two bedroom suite and loved it. We were on the eighth floor and overlooked the pool and marina. The kitchen was perfect for making meals and dining area very accomodating. The king suite was luxurious and felt quite pampered. Unfortunately it was quite cool, so only used the main pool, but visited the fitness...

We thoroughly loved our stay at the Westin Cape Coral Resort. Upon check in, we mentioned that we were celebrating a special birthday and a complimentary bottle of champagne and two champagne flutes were promptly delivered to our room. Our spacious and beautifully appointed room did not overlook the marina. However, the view of the inland waterways and parkland from...

Very clean room and immaculate resort. The rooms are large and beds are comfortable. My room had a lovely screened porch overlooking the reservoir. The marina area is pretty and you are able to take a water taxi right from the resort to Fort Myers beach. The marina also offers sunset dinner cruises. So there are some activities available at...

About 20 tennis friends converged in the Bar for drinks and then to the Bistro for dinner. It was too chilly to be seated outdoors so we settled for the warmth of the indoors. The service (Sean) was very friendly and efficient. We were all pleased with our dinners although I found there was an excess of tomato sauce on...
