After a frantic few days in the Florida panhandle we drove down to Pirates Cove for some chill time and got exactly that. Welcomed by the friendly lady owner we were given a choice of two cottages and chose cottage 3 which we found to be clean cool and quiet, The one drawback was the air con was a bit...

My husband and I stayed a week here in cottage # 7. Justin was very nice and got us towels and things when we needed them. The accommodations were clean and the scenery was lovely. Probably my favorite thing was Billy the cat hanging out with us (at least I think that is his name, it is what we called...

we went to Cedar Key for a little weekend getaway. saw Pirates Cove had very good reviews so decided to try it. Very easy to find, walking distance to all the restaurants and bars. They have seven small cottages, we stayed in number 7. We have stayed in small Florida cottages before and you never know what you are going...

Justin met us in the courtyard of the facility smiling and with a warm welcoming handshake. We check-in to Cabin 2. A delightful cabin with a queen bed, couch, kitchenette and bath. It's not a 4-Star hotel, but it is quintessential Cedar Key. Reminds me of the old time Key West feel. The cabin was quaint, with Carabbean colors inside...

Once you get to cedar key, you've taken a trip back in time to old Florida. Pirates Cove is a wonderful representation of how it used to be. The cottages are well maintained and are as cute as can be. The family works hard to keep everything clean and in good order. Our unit was kept cool by a somewhat...

We stayed two nights last week and loved it! We stayed in cottage 6 which had a nice open deck on the water, and an old fashioned swing out back. There were 2 large rooms each with its own tv and bed, a full size kitchen and bath. And one dvd player--bring some dvds because there is no Redbox anywhere...

Justin is great... Cottages are super clean and for a cottage a really nice size. Screened in porch and view of water. Short walk to town. Very pet friendly. This is a cottage a mom and pop old florida style cottage. If you dont know what that means and are expecting your coffee delivered to your door or a hot...

We had a wonderful stay here last month. My wife and I sought a quiet alternative to the condos on the north side of town. In this case we got what we wanted. The cottages faced a bay--it really smelled like the sea at low tide--and the cottages are clean and well equipped. We could have cooked in if we...

Ceder Key is a pretty cool little out of the way place. #4 cottage was nice, on the bay with a screened in porch. Had a kitchenette, generally very nice. The reason I did not give a higher rating is twofold. First the bed was terrible; saggy and unsupportive. My wife slept in it but not well. I had to...
