Having never been to the Everglades before we took a shot at finding a peaceful setting to seek shelter in between fishing excursions. It didn't take long for us to realize that we hit a bullseye by landing on the Parkway Motel & Marina. From the moment we arrived, we encountered nothing but kind people willing to go out of...

The Parkway is an excellent, quiet ,clean escape from the experience you get in other parts of Florida . Life in the slow lane with fishing , birding , wildlife ,and real ,old Florida history .All on top of ancient Caloosa shell middens .This place is surrounded by wilderness ,mangrove islands and is at the Northwestern end of the Everglades...

Stayed here last Month. 4 guys, 6 nights. We had the cottage, which is located about 100 feet from the marina. 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room and a screen porch! the Marina has year round and seasonal residents as well as tourists like me. The owners are as friendly, accommodating and helpful as can be. This is a...

We enjoyed this place and the people in the office were super nice and friendly. The walls were paper thin but we used our ear plugs and were fine. The room was spacious, clean with nice touches and located on a cool, out of the way, island. Be sure and eat at the Havana Cafe for breakfast! Parkway was not...

Thanks for the kind remarks about our motel. We have made efforts to reduce sound but are working with a structure that was built in the early fifties. I will consult with my builder friend to see what options we have to improve .Please consider requesting an end room for future visit. Best regards. Bill

We stayed here for 2 nights to take a great boat tour of the Everglades. It has all the great attributes of a small town: friendly and helpful, relaxed, calm. The rooms are nice - simple, but a good size, super clean and comfortable. We would certainly return to this motel on a future visit to the area.

1950s style motel with just 5 rooms. Well designed with full refridgerator and a microwave which can also be an oven. Sitting area inside and another outside with tables. Bed was rather soft. Plenty of lighting. Staff accommodating and pleasant.

We stayed here as the starting point for our wilderness waterway paddle. Bill made sure we had everything we needed, even some groceries while we were without a car. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch of our room and relaxing before our hard week of paddling. I would definitely recommend staying here again, the marina is just steps...

We decided to drive out to the Everglades before going down to the Keys and wanted the real experience. Staying on Chokoloskee was so special and something I will never forget. Bill was a great guide to the area and our room was bright and comfortable. Definitely consider staying here and touring the unique area. The marina gives a great...

Quiet, laid back and off the beaten path. Bill and Geri care about being innkeepers. Our rooms were clean and tidy with a wonderful homey and decorative flair. The kitchenette unit we had was well stocked with a few extras and attention to detail. We highly recommend and would definitely return.

One of our favorite places to stay that we'll definitely stay at again when we visit the Everglades. The little special touches that make this motel a place to remember are all due to the owner's pride of ownership. They welcomed us and gave us great tips on places to see and restaurants to eat at. Their recommendations were spot...
