The title says it all. We were greeted with a warm welcome at the front desk by Jason, who, whilst booking us in, gave us a complimentary upgrade as longstanding IHG members. The suite was spacious and extremely clean and inviting with a huge bathroom with very soft towels and complimentary toiletries. There are no dining facilities on site but they do have a "Cupboard" where you can purchase food, drinks etc and charge it to your room. We were dining with friends in he town so did not need this, but thought it an extremely good idea/service. Jason recommended "Roadies" restaurant just over for the road for breakfast the next morning and, it was excellent . My husband used the pool while I luxuriated in a lovely hot bath. Although not huge, he said the pool was very nice & clean and that towels were provided - great service. All in all, a very pleasant stay and we would use them again.…

Very very clean hotel with comfy beds & pretty much everything you need is provided like soap, shampoo, body wash. Rooms are big. Full size fridge and dishwasher. Laundry room on first floor. Clean washers and dryers and it’s free to use. You will need your own laundry detergent. In lobby there’s a “store” where you can buy it plus snax. Free coffee, water, ice. Rooms don’t get cleaned daily since extended stay hotel. But front desk will get you whatever you need…just ask. Like towel, more soap, etc… Pool kinda small and I felt it wasn’t as clean as it should be. There weren’t always towels by pool either. Hotel good location and ample parking. Elevator worked well. They do allow pets…so be warned if you don’t like this because a lot a lot a lot of ppl staying there do have dogs. On leashes of course and not in pool area. But some ppl might not like animals. Even with the pets I found hotel very very clean. I’m knocking off one star because of two things. One some of the employees are less than nice. One that checked us in was flat out rude!!! Screwed up our check in and totally lost patience with us from the onset and walked off and another guy had to finish checking us in. Which he did a great job and there really wasn’t a huge prob afterall, Jason…rude guy…just had the info alllllllll wrong!!! And didn’t understand why we were upset after traveling 850 miles!! But he later apologized, so….. Hotel might need to work on public relations more! Secondly…while we were there the hotel was celebrating an anniversary and there was a luau at pool and gazebo. Which turned out in all honesty to be a huge employee party that they invited hotel guests just so we’d have no reason to complain. These employees and their kids hogged the pool and gazebo the entire day and into the night! Their party ended around 9 pm. So my family lost an entire day of being able to use the pool. Then the next morning I went to use the pool and it was filthy with food and trash all over…even in the pool. I would stay here again if I needed a place in spite of a few probs because the place is very clean.…

This property offered everything you need. Refrigerator with freezer, grocery store across the street, washers and dryers, gas grill, huge rooms. It was not near to beaches, or touristy things but we would absolutely stay here again. We don’t remember your name, but front desk guy was from Texas, and offered us any assistance we needed. If only we could find a place like this again!

I had a really awkward experience with the front desk staff. Over the phone, it seemed like the lady I spoke with was distracted and she hung up on me after I asked a question, she didn't really direct me where to put my bags when I asked if I can leave them while I waited, she never checked my ID, didn't explain anything, and sent me up to my room when the room wasn't fully ready yet. There was no shower curtain, and the drain was clogged, and there was no body wash in the dispenser. At checkout, it seemed the guy at the desk thought I was crazy for not mentioning anything about the shower during my stay, but I really wanted to avoid bothering with the front desk after the initial check in. The housekeeping staff were friendly, the room was huge, and the location was really convenient but the front desk just didn't do it for me. Sorry :( I know it's a crazy time with staffing and I understand, but maybe even a simple greeting would've helped me calm my travel anxieties! Thanks for taking the time to read.…

I checked in to a corner king suite and was told there would be no cleaning service the next day. When I got to the room, I spent the first hour listening to a yowling dog. Upon calling the front desk and asking to be moved, I was told there were no more rooms and the noise would be investigated. About a half an hour later the dog noise stopped. It smells bad. Really bad. I realize that as an all suite hotel with a full kitchen including a two burner cooktop, people cook, but it reeks. A little room deodorizer would go a long way. But I think they'd have to spray the whole floor. Now for the really bad stuff. I turned down the bed and found the bottom sheet dirty (picture attached), so I'm sleeping on the top sheet. The toilet seat is stained red and there is a piece of tape with the same red stuck to the ceiling (picture attached). I'm here because I am cleaning out a condo I just sold and needed a nearby hotel for a few nights. I truly regret that I have to stay here one more night, but I don't have time to change hotels. The kicker is: I will be staying at a at another IHG property, Staybridge Suites in Florence SC. I stayed there last year and that is the reason I felt this IHG property would be a good choice. Hotel & Intro I stayed at the Courtyard Hotel in Safety Harbor, Florida for solo leisure trip from May 21, 2021 to May 23, 2021. I travel often and rely on customer reviews to help me choose a hotel as well as enhance my stay. Overall This hotel was overall nice with a pool, gym, and business center. The pool water was a little too cold for me to enjoy but not bad. Thank you to Joy at the front desk for helping me with a printing issue. My IHG preferences are automatically set for highest floor available. Upon check-in (arrived 8am), the service rep said I would have to wait for availability to accommodate the room assigned to me on a high floor. They allowed me to store my luggage. I returned about 2pm and after waiting about hour they said my room was ready; however, they assigned me on the first floor not far from the lobby because nothing else was available. If you prefer less noise, do not accept this as I learned the hard way. The first floor was incredibly noisy with doors constantly shutting and people talking. Also, the first-floor lacks privacy as people are walking by the window outside all day. Overall, this hotel was very clean and in compliance with face masks and social distancing. Room, Shower, Bed I had a King room with Kitchenette. The room was very, very spacious. It had every amenity I needed such as appliances, 2 burner stove, microwave, dishes, serving/cooking ware, and they provided all the supplies such as dish soap, dishwasher tabs, etc. The room had a huge work desk with ample plugs and a comfortable reclining chair for watching the large TV. The internet was great and very fast. No issues with streaming. The bed was firm and comfortable. The bathroom was enormous with plenty of counterspace for toiletries. It had a bathtub and the shower had great water pressure which is important to me. Another great feature was the bathroom had a built-in nightlight. Perfect so I didn’t need to use the extremely bright lights during the night. My only complaint about the bathroom were the towels. They were hard and scratchy. I was surprised because usually hotels have soft towels. Maybe this was an isolated incident. Location This hotel is in a great location. There are at least 8 restaurants outside in walking distance as it is in shopping center area. I dined next door at the Thai Spice Restaurant and it had an amazing grouper dish. You also have 2 supermarkets (Publix and Winn-Dixie) across the street. It is less than 3 miles from downtown Safety Harbor with many high-end restaurants, shopping and festivals.…

This is what I tried to Post on the Candlewood site but it was rejected for in-appropriate language. How weird is that? There is nothing in here that is inappropriate! We are residents of Pinellas County, presently living in Tennessee while our townhome in Safety Harbor is being built. We stayed in this Candlewood Suites for 3 nights - it was our first experience with this hotel group. This property is very nice and in a great location - lots of restaurants and shopping nearby, including a Publix grocery store right across street - very handy! The one bedroom suite was incredibly spacious - much larger than the Marriott suite we stayed in last time. With Covid restrictions, we realize nothing is quite normal so I can’t judge housekeeping, etc. We did feel, however, that the few staff you do have interactions with - mainly front desk - were not up to IHG standards. Nothing welcoming, no information regarding the Cupboard, no mention of IHG points( we stay in IHG hotels often).never a hi as we came and went through the lobby. The lack would never stop us from staying here again but it certainly doesn’t make you feel very warm and fuzzy or even valued. There are lots of competitors nearby so might be a small thing to work on!…

We used this hotel for one of our employees that came to our office. Great service and property. Hotel is clean and comfortable, they have all the home away from home touches. Full kitchen, comfortable beds, and great staff made this a great stay! Definitely will use for any and all travel in the area.
