I stayed here for four days while in the area on business recently. Amber Tides is a small, Old Florida-style Motel. Anyone who traveled in Florida in the '50s and 60's will know what I mean. The Motel also is reminiscent of pensions and bed and breakfasts in Europe, without the breakfast but with a lovely pool and palm tree-enclosed...

I'd give it 10 stars!!! I have stayed with Ulli at Amber Tides since 2009. If you're looking for a high rise, ritzy hotel please go somewhere else. Amber Tides is 1 floor, cozy, quiet and simple... just like home for me. Ulli is amazing. The rooms are always nice, clean and stocked. Anytime I have ever needed anything he...

Ok so this review will be sightly long, and for good reason. Here is my story. In December of 2016 my wife and I traveled to Clearwater for Christmas. We travel quite a bit, and have been to Clearwater several times. This was the first time staying at Amber Tides. We loved it for various reasons, the most important reason...

My friends and I had planned a trip to Clearwater Beach for spring break, but sadly the motel down the street from Amber Tides would not accept us when we checked in because we were under the age of 21 even though they had my information for a month and a half. We had spent over 3 hours looking for...

My husband and I spent a week here while vacationing in Clearwater beach Florida. The rooms are the size of a small efficiency apartment and outside and inside reminds you of the 1950s. I don't mean to put anyone off by this comment, because it is very clean and well maintained. The rooms surround a solar heated pool. The owner...

I stayed at Amber Tides recently on a personal trip to Clearwater Beach. What a cool place: funky and nostalgic! My room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. They went out of their way to make sure I had a pleasant stay. I am already looking forward to my next visit to Amber Tides.

Found this hidden gem by luck during an impromptu family trip to Clearwater. Family owned motel with 2 heated pools, one of which was right outside of our room. Parking was alsoi just right outside of our room, which is great with kids. No parking fees or valets to deal with. Cozy and clean room with a kitchen so we...

If you are looking for luxury, this is not your hotel..but, this is an adorable old motel, right down to the pink tile in the bathroom. It is an easy walk to the beach and downtown. Our bed, sheets and pillows were super comfortable and extremely clean. The pools are also clean. Great value for the little amount of time...

If you want a fancy hotel, this isn't it. But if you want a cute motel with nostalgic Florida vibes you want to stay here. It's less than a five minute walk to the beach and great seafood. The owner is so hospitable and helpful, working with our weird schedule of arriving and leaving.
