We had a king bed room and it was very clean and nicely kept. It had a refrig, microwave, Keurig coffee maker and a large screen TV with many channels. The breakfast was amazing...everything you can imagine, cheese omelets, bacon, turkey sausage, all varieties of cereal, bagels, muffins, cinnamon rolls, yogurt, 4 juices, pancakes, toast and more! The staff was very nice and professional. We will definitely visit again.
I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on Gulf-to-Bay in Clearwater for two nights to escape Hurricane Ian. The room was clean and comfortable and it was great to have a free hot breakfast each morning. The lobby has lots of comfortable seating and a big TV. The hotel is in a non-evacuation zone and I felt totally safe and really didn’t hear the rain and wind.
We had a piece of furniture that was completely infested with roaches we've been killing them for 2 days and Holiday inn is refusing to give us anything except for 50% off of one night we will never stay at a holiday and again I am actually going to turn in my membership to IHG.
Nigel from the front desk at 2580 Gulf to Bay Blvd in Clearwater is fantastic!! I stay out of town A LOT. He has been professional and super easy to work with. I stay in many hotels, I stay here more often because of his great hospitality. Holiday Inn should recognize great employees like Nigel. Thanks for making my stay easy and comfortable. Kudos to Nigel for his dedication to excellence!
Everyone we meet was kind and helpful. Our room (2Q) was spacious and clean. Even the bathroom that can sometimes have things not so great was super clean. Breakfast was organized with different options. No 'to go' bag breakfast here.
Front desk was outstanding! Very helpful, professional, knowledgable, and friendly! The hotel was CLEAN and close to so many great restaurants and stores big & small. Our room was quiet & cool, the free breakfast was good& breakfast staff was so sweet. Our Lyfts to Clearwater beach were short waits and about 15 minute rides. Thanks for a very nice stay!
We needed a night to escape TS Eta. This place was great. Firm beds, great lighting, excellent pulsating shower heads. The pool says it's outdoor and heated. It felt like a giant jacuzzi which is wonderful. (Perhaps have someone clean the leaves from the pool bottom) The breakfast is hot and nice. Someone had to serve us, but the food was tasty. About the only issue is that the convenience store on site doesn't take debit/credit. It would be convenient if they did. However there is a giant strip mall within 3 blocks. We might be back.
My daughter, her friend and I stayed one night while in town for a High School Regional swim meet. From calling to adjust the reservation name to our check-out experience, the service has been superb! Location is right on US 19 - everything is within a 5 min drive - grocery, target, gas, food. Beaches are just 10 minutes down the road. The value was great for the location and service. Check-in was a breeze and when we got to our room, which was supposed to be two queen beds, there were two rooms - a king bed/ bathroom in one room and two queen beds/bathrooms in the other. Had no idea we were getting an upgrade and it was just perfect! Beds/pillows were comfortable, the extra shade on the windows made for a nice, dark night for sleeping, and while you could hear the traffic outside, it wasn’t enough to disturb our sleep - but we are not light sleepers so this may be an issue for some. Extra outlets and charging ports on both sides of bed with the nightstand. Fridge/microwave and Keurig (w/coffee and tea all set out for us) were available. Bathrooms were updated and clean - water pressure a little low but hardly worth mentioning. The King room just had so much space-if a rollaway was needed, it wouldn’t seem to even crowd the room. Breakfast was decent - the staff did a great job of serving everyone. Since it’s COVID times, it’s not a buffet style as usual. During our stay, breakfast was eggs, sausage, pancakes, cereal, oatmeal, milk, coffee - maybe more options but I didnt’ ask. Dining area was open so it was nice to sit and eat there rather than on the run. Every interaction with the staff exceeded our expectations! They were friendly, easy to talk to and so kind. We even requested a later checkout so we could return after the swim meet to shower before heading out and it was granted without hesitation. We were so grateful! We so enjoyed our stay, wished we had booked 2 nights instead of 1! We look forward to returning as a family when in the area again. …
We stayed here while we were house hunting. It’s right next to US 19 so it’s convenient to head any direction. Clearwater beach is only 10 min away. Dunedin is about 10. Breakfast was so-able and still free. They were missing juice but they had coffee, sausage, those lovely cinnamon rolls and biscuits n gravy. Also cereal, fruit and honey buns! The only thing we could complain about were the ppl above us and that seemed to get corrected. Big comfy bed and huge room. Pool was warm but felt good too! Nothing fancy!! Most people wearing masks!! The customer service there is phenomenal! Each person we interacted with was very pleasant and professional!! Would return!
First time visit to the area from Texas. We were in town for a couple of days and it was and ideal location to shops and the beach areas. The staff was friendly and helpful. (Special shoutout to Judy at the front desk) The room was well kept and had all the amenities we needed. THE BED AND PILLOWS WERE SO COMFORTABLE. The hot breakfast had healthy choices and that was such a welcome surprise. We didn’t have any complaints.
