I tend to not complain, but the recent stay at the Hampton Inn in Largo, FL left me no choice but to spend a couple of minutes writing a note. First, during check-in on Fri 5/12, at around 10:30 pm, the front desk employee did not ask me whether I needed a parking pass or not. It wasn't until I stepped out of the hotel and overheard the night front desk employee ask the person checking in if they had a car to issue them a parking pass since the hotel is so close to an airport, they strictly enforce parking passes. I immediately interrupted them to ask why I was not offered one and she then issued me one. It would have been a real mess if my car would've gotten towed or booted due to the negligence of the agent who checked me in. Second, as I mentioned before, I had to step out of the hotel almost immediately after checking in to a local pharmacy. Upon my arrival a couple of minutes past 11 pm, the hotel front door did not open and the agent at the front desk literally scolded me for not having my room key with me saying "There are plenty of signs around the property that state the doors are locked after 11 pm and to use my room key". I felt as if my own mother was scolding me! What is this attitude? - Third, on Sunday morning at around 8:00 am, I tried reaching the front desk from my room's phone to ask for a late checkout but nobody answered. I then walked down and found nobody at the front desk but a sign that stated they were not at the front desk and that they were helping another customer. I walked back to my room and after about 5 minutes, called again from my room's phone. I asked the person who answered for a late checkout. She told me she was "out of late checkout options since it was a holiday". I told her I had been calling and even went in person to the lobby to which she replied it cannot be because I have been here all morning. I had no option but to pack my bags in a rush and get out of the hotel as quickly as possible since I really did not want to be at that hotel one more minute! The worst client service I have ever seen at a Hilton hotel ever. Never coming back to this property!…

Good value, the hotel is located in a quiet area (unlike some where the road noise is problematic) looks like it was recently renovated too. I felt comfortable and safe. Hotel costs have gone up quite a bit since pre-covid, but I found the cost to be reasonable.

Room 412 is a handicap room. My husband is handicapped so I thought this room would be a great fit for us to stay the night because we only needed a room to rest in the night before our flight. As soon as you walked into the room it smelled just like a nursing home. It was disgusting. The doors had smears of something on them, luckily I had antibacterial wipes and I scrubbed the doors and handles down before any of us used them. PLEASE clean this room. Shampoo the carpet! The smell is disgusting. We are in our early 40’s and we don’t want to sleep in a room that smelled like a nursing home. It was super late when we checked in and we left early. Breakfast was also disappointing.

Convenient location near St Pete Clearwater Airport, restaurants, and shopping mall. Coffee was plentiful and breakfast was adequate. Pool area could have been more inviting. Desk staff were friendly and helpful.

Clean, rooms are roomy, good breakfast, nice pool, nice staff, descent $$$, 30 min from Clearwater Beach and surrounding beaches. Ohhh the beds you sleep in are so comfortable you would be so relaxed when you wake up.

I had an interaction with one of the employees at this hotel. I came down to do laundry at 6:45am. She explained the washer worked, but the dryer was down. She said I could run the wash but since housekeeping was arriving soon I wouldn’t be able to use the dryer. I didn’t know this was an option. I asked if there was a manager on duty that I could speak to. This is where things took a turn for the worse. She said she wouldn’t call a manager over this. All I wanted to do was plead my case. We waited, specifically for today, to do our laundry. We packed accordingly. To not be able to wash, and dry, our laundry today was going to be a major inconvenience. The front desk clerk was adamant that my problem, which was really their issue, did not warrant additional consideration. She continued to address me and tell me why it wouldn’t amount to something she would call the manager for. I told her “you made your problem, my problem.” She replied, “how about your emergency isn’t my problem. How about that?” How about that indeed. This person should not be in customer service. If you won’t address a customers issue/concern and you have the ability to do so, you shouldn’t be in customer service.…

This hotel was short staffed for a holiday weekend and having a hockey teams staying. The mgmt should’ve known better more staff would be required to maintain Hilton standards. There was no hot water for showering no matter what time of day. The breakfast/ eating area a mess with tables being dirty, they ran out of food every morning, and coffee and hot water for tea were always out. The person staying in room next door (603)had TV loud for 2 days straight, I spoke to front desk person who tried to resolve it unsuccessfully. She had to call the cops to try to break into room which was extremely stressful for us with the interaction next door. We had no sleep for 2 nights. Bathrooms on main floor were without toilet paper and paper towels consistently. I paid over $350 a night for this hotel and I will never stay here again. I actually am thinking about moving to Marriott properties for my stays from now on. Many of my family and friends are making the switch because of experiences like this with Hilton properties…

We spent the night here before a flight and it is very conveniently located near both local airports. The room was quiet and clean and the staff was nice. We were a little disappointed that breakfast does not begin until 7am on weekends and as we had to leave for our early flight at 6am, we were not able to get any breakfast here. It would be nice if they offered simple to-go bags for those with early flights. We have enjoyed those at other Hampton Inn locations in the past.

Comfortable hotel for a 4 night business trip. Breakfast selection was a bit poor but the coffee was fresh . There is no restaurant but there are local restaurants that will deliver to the hotel . No bar but you can pick up some drinks at reception to have in the reception area . Staff here are great and the reception staff were fun and had a bit of banter .

This is one one the more pricey Hampton Inns we use to/from NY and Florida annually. It is the ONLY one that does not give silver level Hilton Honors like me the two free bottles of water. Why? “That’s only for gold and and diamond members,” according to the receptionist. 🤣🤣 A welcome perk for a loyal member that costs Hilton maybe 10 cents? C’mon, man. Poor judgement, Hilton.
