We stayed there 3 nights the hotel is small it is a historic building so it may seem outdated. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. The tv was outdated but it played to the charm of the hotel. The free breakfast was very limited luckily it was free. Down side is having to pay for parking each night. Staff...

Only spent one night but loved the Hotel St. Michel! The hotel is privately owned and filled with antiques purchased by the owners. All rooms are different, uniquely furnished and immaculate. The staff could not be more pleasant and helpful and they alerted me to a few quirky tricks that guests need to know - such as how to turn...

Staying here was like a step back in time. The building was built in the 1920's and feels like it is still in that era. They are renovating the lobby in a more modern style and it doesn't seem to fit the rest of the decor. The restaurant was not open. I'm not sure if that was due to the...

Great place if you don't want extra amenities. Small, quiet and old feel. We loved it. I felt like i was in an old bedroom. Awesome homie feel. Close to all the action of Miracle Mile. I highly recommend. They are doing construction now to improve. We will be back.......

I was hoping to check into a quirky ‘blast from the past’ boutique hotel in Coral Gables but my experience was not as I had hoped. Upon arrival I was surprised to find that the hotel St Michel no longer has a bar or restaurant although are featured on their web site. It appears that the hotel is in transition...

I went there with a bit of anticipation and hesitation, having read previous reviews, which were mixed and leaning towards the negative. I’m quite receptive to eccentric and boutique hotels, and I usually expect that negative reviewers of such are the type who prefer the predictable consistency of chain hotels. Score one for them because the St. Michel left me...

I recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a peaceful and quiet hotel that is centrally located. The staff was excellent and friendly, and there is a parking garage that you can park your car in (for a daily fee) and walk to wherever you need to go.

Can be a fantastic hotel but needs updating and some care and attention . There was no water one day the lift is a chore and I had a bed frame outside my door for 3 days while they painted it!! Location is fantastic but breakfast is not worth bothering with !!

This beautiful property, located in the center or Coral Gables and within walking distance to restaurants and shops is badly in a state of disrepair. The beautiful wood floors are in terrible shape and the scant staff can't deal with the needs of the guests when occupation is more than 25%. If you are not planning on staying in your...

Old style hotel located downtown at a walking distance of Miracle Mile and stores. It's possible to park the car for an affordable price. Average room with a noisy AC and an old shower. Very basic breakfast. No frigo bar.
