Nice, clean, and very quiet, bathrooms were very, very clean. Each site was trash free. They have quick access to the beach and the beaches are beautiful, I was hoping for more to do inside the park, like more contact with fellow campers.

We stay here every year and it's a family favorite! The campground has secluded spots so you feel like you've got your own space. The bath house is always very clean! The walk to the beach is very convenient and once you get to the beach, it simply cannot be beat! I love bringing my young daughter here - she's...

My daughter and I recently visited Henderson Beach State Park. We usually visit about 2 times a year as we're frequent visitors to the Destin area. The park is currently undergoing some renovations to improve the experience for future visitors. For example, the outdoor showers are being replaced - hopefully to add a SECOND set of showers so the lines...

We brought our 32' RV here for a couple of days of spring break with our 3 grandkids. The campground is laid out well and the campsites are wonderful spots for RV's - flat with gravel, all the hookups, plenty of space, fire pit, picnic table. There is foliage between each site so you don't see your neighbor. Great place...

This long narrow park wedged between busy Rte 98 and the Gulf may be the best RVing experience we've had. The flat pea gravel sites are very widely spaced and separated by lush plantings for a wonderful sense of privacy. Each site has a generous outdoor area with table, fire ring, and clothesline. Wide roads and large site openings make...

So clean! Like the cleanest campground we've ever experienced around the USA! Nice privacy between each site. And the walk to the beach up & over the dunes isn't bad on a very nice railed boardwalk with informative markers about the area's plants & animals. My only issue is the traffic noise from the busy highway. It finally got quiet...

We stayed at Henderson State Park for five wonderful nights. I highly recommend this beautiful and well run campground. Each site has a secluded spot surrounded by foliage and trees. We were at spot 52 which was a pull through and it was great hearing the Gulf of Mexico while you slept. We couldn't see the ocean however it was...

My family stayed at both the Henderson Beach State Park Campground and the larger Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. Although Topsail offer more amenities and value, I prefer Henderson Beach State Park for the beach. It is a much better, scenic, beach than the Topsail. Also, one can take a short walk to the beach instead of waiting and having...

Camp ground and facilities were spotless! Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it,and I will be making a return trip. It was a short walk to beach, so if u plan on ice chest to beach, take one with wheels. The dolphins are accustomed to jet skis and very interactive. Great to see them so close...
