We were really excited to spend a couple days in our new trailer on the beach. We arrived, I took one awesome picture and then the rain began. Terrible thunderstorms. First time in Destin. Really no outdoor space to be in on a rainy day. The campground spaces are VERY close together. It feels like camping in a parking lot....

This park is the best operated one we have stayed in..the people guiding and parking your rig are super...pools are awesome..bathhouse is very clean with individual rooms and a waterfall showerhead ...quiet,safe and very friendly ..the beach is the topper of our visit, very white sand and beautiful emerald green water...do not miss this park

Camping directly on the beach! We take our kids every year for a week and really enjoy the beach and two pools. We put a tent up every morning (with heavy weights on each leg) to reserve our spot for the day then we come and go as we want based on kids napping and also time out to use...

My mother was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer, and as her last "hoorah" she wanted to take an RV trip to Florida and camp on the beach. Luckily, we randomly found this place and literally parked our RV on the beach, which is exactly what my mom wanted. When she first saw the beach and the ocean, the smile...

I believe that all of us, who enjoy RVing and a nice beach, hope that there would be more places, like Camp Gulf. Once again, we had a wonderful stay. The service is excellent, the RV resort is always clean and maintained, conveniently located just a few minutes drive to restaurants, outlets and other attractions. The main benefit: It is...

We stayed on site 701 Saturday-Friday(April 15-21) and LOVED being steps away from the beach. We had plenty of space between campers (for a couple days we didn't even have a neighbor in one side!) the guide showed us our way straight to the site and helped us back it in, easily done in 10 minutes from the time we...

Just got back from Camp Gulf, Destin, FL. Stayed for 4 nights and family can't wait to go back to Camp Gulf. Staff was courteous, helpful, campground clean and quiet. White sand beaches at the end of the campground. Can't ask for anything more!. Definitely recommend this campground. I read some reviews yes it is expensive, yes the sites are...

There were lots of activities for young kids and my grandson (10) enjoyed many of them over his spring break. As adults, my hub and I would not likely return. We prefer the more natural aspects of Grayton Beach and Topsail State Parks. Everything is cement at Camp Gulf. But the upside is the beach is right there.

Coming from Ohio this place is awesome. The weather this year during spring break was beautiful. This might just be our every year spring break. One pool has a dome over it and is heated so no matter the weather the kids can still swim. A lot of activities right here, really no need to spend money elsewhere if you...

This is our second trip to Camp Gulf, and while I wasn't excited about the $120/night for a site across from the dumpster I have to say that I don't regret it! Why stay here? 1)Easy walk/bike ride to the beach, 2)activities, and 3)only place with a pool you can get in during the month of March! The dome on...
