While loading up, I had the curtains opened. GM looked into the window, pulled out his key and was about to walk into the room. He stopped when I yelled at him. He then walked away. He failed to identify himself as staff. Issues like this is why I stick with the the other brands managed by professional management companies.

I like staying at this hotel. It is small, but rooms are a good size. It is clean, comfortable with minimal noise. The beds are very comfortable, I always get a good night sleep here. The staff is friendly and accommodating. My only complaint, if you are not out of the room by 11am sharp, expect a phone call from manager.

Spotlessly clean. All the expected amenities of a good motel. Very quiet, with limited road noise and very quiet AC. Good water with excellent water pressure and almost instant hot water. Quick and easy check-in.

My nine day stay was outstanding, Breakfast was great and the entire staff was completely nice, organized and willing to help. The pool, the area and chairs and tables and umbrellas were clean and comfortable.

Four of us stayed recently at the Best Western hotel in East Palatka. First off, the check-in was disastrous… but the check out was even worse. On our arrival, the young man at the front desk checking us in got everything wrong and would not provide us with receipts saying that we would get them when we checked out. Spoiler alert: Of course we were charged much more than we were told we were paying. We spoke with the manager and complained at checkout who told us there was nothing he could do. On a plus side, the breakfast was OK but the lady managing the breakfast area was very nice. We were all extremely disappointed with this stay and I cannot recommend it.

We are sorry to hear that you had confusion regarding your rate, Please send us your email and we will be happy to send you, the sign copy of your registration that shows what rate you agreed to, and also we can provide you the second copy of your receipt that shows exactly the amount that is on registration card. Correct the the receipt are provided at time of departure, the reason behind is that the guest stays are variable, some guest would extend their stay and some would check out early then expected. so for accuracy and to avoid billing confusion, we always have itemized receipt at time of check out. We hope you contact us with your email so we can provide you all the necessary paper to avoid confusion. once again we apologize for this confusion.

Clean, staff was very nice, nice size room, quiet area, breakfast was ok, nice pool area and close to downtown area. Many food options around. My only con is the smell of the room. It was a damp wet smell maybe remove carpet and it will smell better.

Roaches! This place is a dump. Never stay there. The staff or management does not care. I reported the roaches I killed to the desk and they said they were sorry. They spray every month. The rates are ridiculous for the quality of this property. Terrible.

Hotel definitely doesn’t look like in the pictures. Air conditioning was noisy. Bed smelled bad. Though we booked the non-smoking one, the room smelled bad. Check-in was slow. However the hotel location was great. I would suggest this hotel as the last option.

Stains all over the sheets and human waste all over bathroom. Terrible odor in room. Went asked for management told no one was available til monday. Asked for new roon or refund and received niether. Wont stay with best western again.
