What a great find! Le Manoir was a perfect Autumn getaway in Normandy, close to lovely wee towns and great restaurants. Our room had separate entry - as they all have, we were free to come and go as we pleased. Breakfast was big, and all gloriously home made. The rooms are all very individual - it seems all the...

Though remote, the directions we were given by the proprietor helped us find this place easily. The accommodation is a sympathetic barn conversion and has been done in a way that doesn't stint on comfort or space. The 'manor house' is still renovation work in progress which adds to the rustic farmhouse quality of the place. Lots of outside interest,...

Rooms with a difference have been created within this renovated, medieval barn. Each room follows a different theme and offers unusual, but comfortable en-suite accommodation. Tea and coffee and a small TV are available, but no WiFi. A banquet, breakfast is provided in the "Hall of Whispers" that adjoins the bedrooms and jolly, Madame, is keen to please. Be sure...

We have made three visits so far and we are likely to visit again in a couple of months time. We first found this delight on a booking website when looking for a dog friendly B&B close to our route between Calais and Brittany. The rooms are in a separate building to the owners' house and are all quirkily decorated...

The family who runs this hotel is a delight. They are extremely friendly and are ready to make recommendation for local attractions. The rooms all have different themes. We had William the conquerers rooms. It was one of the largest rooms we had on our trip to France. The breakfast they out together is amazing. It is quite a spread...

We came from England and this was our first stop. It was fantastic, so welcoming, clean and a fab place to stay, not far from Honfleur, Cabourg and Caen. The place is in the cider region and some of the villages next door are the most scenic around Normandie. The accommodation was styled in some kind of French period-time. The...

Unfortunately our visit was marred by the fact that none of the Cambremer restaurants were open and on our second night only one of the other restaurants in a nearby village was open. We were recommended trips out to Trouville to eat and whilst hosts were trying to be helpful that is not exactly close by. So do check on...

We stayed three nights here and had a lovely time. It's a small, family run place in a beautiful part of the world. It's very much tucked away, but actually very central in Normandy and with the car it's easy to reach all the places that you're most likely to want to visit. The welcome was warm and very laid...

This area of the Normandy countryside is amazingly picturesque. Laurence and Christophe were quite accommodating and spoke good English. They recommended a great local restaurant, which was the best food of our trip. Breakfast was fresh and included yogurt, local apple juice, apple slices, breads, jams, and cheese.
