We stayed for five days and really enjoyed the personalized service, the amazing meals and the homey ambiance. There were organized activities, boats to borrow and local day trips nearby. We saw tortoises, bald eagles and ospreys.

Dinner at the property. If alcoholic beverages are desired you must bring your own. Pre-dinner hour: The pre-dinner "cheese" hour was nothing special. Minimal assortment of cheese and crackers. You had to get your own water at the dispenser. If you wanted iced tea or lemonade you had to go to the dining area to get it yourself. At dinner...

this hotel is actually a series of old cottages set among ancient oaks on the beach. The best houses/accommodations are gulf front -- private but one goes to sleep every night with the sound of the gulf swishing on the shore. The cottages, given their age and their wooden structures, are old and a bit mildewy but that smell completely...

Lemon Bay Garden Club members held their annual Christmas luncheon at the Manasota Beach Club today. We return year after year because of the wonderful time we have there. Perfect beach front venue for all club and family celebrations. You can even feed a hibiscus to a gopher tortoise on the front lawn.

Incredible hideaway that peaked about 10 years ago. Friendly staff but no offer of compensation when we realized there was no hot water in our cottage, which was not remedied before we had to shower in the pool before an otherwise storybook wedding. Priced for the place it used to be.

We do apologize for the hot water heater breaking down in the Red Robin Cottage. Due to the wedding destination weekend, all our cottages were booked so therefore we could not move you to a different location. Our maintenance and housekeeping staff did go to the room several times to assess the situation hoping it was a simple fix but...

This is a charmingly quaint property set in several lush acres which span from Lemon Bay and the inland water way to the Gulf of Mexico. This place is uniquely different from the run of the mill resorts. The luxury here lies not with fancy rooms and lush carpets and fancy swimming pools and the like but with beautiful walk...

My son and I visited in June of 2015. We called on a whim as we were car-camping the perimeter of Florida and were finishing up the west coast. We were upgraded to a great cottage overlooking the ocean (literally just steps away- a 30-second walk with some stairs), yet still privately tucked away in a grove surrounded by hibiscus....
