We highly recommend this place. It was our first experience at a B and B and we were so very impressed... The whole place was spotless. The management were beyond friendly and welcoming. The food was exceptionally delicious It is also located in a very picturesque location right on the river...including a dock to sit and take in the boat traffic.. or do some fishing...

Stayed in the Walnut Room, big room with porch like sitting area looking over the Saint John River. Breakfast was very good with choice of poached, scrambled eggs or croissants with yogurt, juice. and coffee. Not much open for dinner on a Tuesday but the golf course restaurant was pretty good about 4k away. The B&B is only a few K off the Trans Canada. Nackawic, Big Axe, Big Axe Brewery, Big Axe B&B..I think there is a theme here.

Can’t go wrong with this B£B. Wonderful hosts. Wonderful breakfast. Stayed in Maple Room and enjoyed the double tub with bubbles and wine after a pint at the brewery next door. Short drive off the trans-Canada. Highly recommend staying at this B&B.

Stayed here for one night on the way home on a road trip. What a wonderful B&B. We stayed in the Walnut Room. Great size with a large sitting area that has great views of the Saint John River. Refrigerator, Keurig (all you need to make 2 cups) are in your room. There is also a small fridge with refreshments & snacks available in the hall for a very small charge. There is a lovely dock with chairs for B&B guest use on the River itself. Breakfast was fantastic. This is a lovely place to get away for a few days.

Big Axe B&B was a charming getaway. We stayed in the Maple room and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The room boasts a large two person jacuzzi tub, sun room and queen bed. Lots of amenities - including a coffee maker and refrigerator. Common space included canteen, microwave, toaster ++. Our hosts were polite and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and delivered to our room (due to COVID protocols). Two doors down from Big Axe brewery.

A fantastic spot with the perfect view. The hosts Viscilly an Olga are so friendly a d have created the most wonderful rooms stay in. There is a dock with chairs to sit on right the river. We spent two nights and can't wait to return. There was coffee in our room. Breakfast is provided ànd the fresh cucumber ànd dill were a added bonus. A home away from home, we had a great time

Lovely room with a view, top notch air conditioning, comfy bed, everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay and even had a nice dip in the River. Enjoyed some brews next door at the Craft brewery. Hosts were great and the gardens so pretty.

Located right on the St John River, you can't beat the view from the Walnut room, or from the front porch. Our room was very cozy and temperature controlled which was perfect given the warm week we were having. 'The Captain' was a fantastic host, almost going out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. Great Spot, Great Hospitality!

My husband and I and another couple rode our bikes from Fredericton to Nackawic 2 weeks ago. Stayed one night in the B and B, what a delightful place to stay. Our room was very comfortable, included the jacuzzi and sunroom. Wonderful view looking out on the river. Immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. Will definitely be returning to this peaceful haven. The “Captain” and his wife Olga provided us with a delicious breakfast and stored our bikes in a safe locked place on the property. We enjoyed the great beer in the well designed brewery next door. Should mention the well tended gardens adds to the charm of this well run accomadation.
