We were there for a bicycling event. Great town beautiful scenery and wildlife. I WISH I had a better report to write. I enjoy Everglades City every time I have been there. Last year we stayed at Ivey Cottage. Great little place. This year {2016) we stayed at the newly renovated Capatins Table Lodge. The rooms were clean, that is...

Our room was very basic but was very clean. We were surprised that a hair dryer was not provided - unusual these days. Although there was only one bathroom, and additional sink was provided in the room, which made it very convenient for two travelers. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

There is very limited accommodation with Everglade City so no doubt high demand has discouraged the expenditure on upgrading that the motel part of the accommodation needs. WiFi quite restricted. It is, however, clean and in a great location for access to the national park and tour operators. Staff at check in were helpful and told us what to expect...

The facility and our room was clean, clean, clean, corners included! I would have given 5 stars, but there was no WiFi in our room. Had to go to the office area. Not good in the world today. Price is great.

Based on a recommendation we received we stayed at the Captains Table, it was an older room but clean. We'd recommend it if you aren't expecting a room at the Ritz or if you are not a little flexible with an older building. We enjoyed it for a couple of nights.

Nice location. Liked the screened porch and balcony. Pool is beautiful. Facilities are about 20 years overdue for refurbishment. Wifi is terrible. No phone in room. Deadbolt on door non-functioning. Really expensive for what it is.

As usual reviews can be misleading. Budget to me isn't the exorbitant amount we were charged, although it was the annual Seafood Festival. We were told no wifi in the rooms but, in fact ,we had no trouble connecting. The fact that, had we been staying more than one night, they would have charged for housekeeping is appalling, and I have...

We came to Everglades City to do a mangrove/alligator sightseeing. The Captain's Table Lodge offered us a low-cost accomodation. We were satisfied with the value. Although, the wifi could have been better. It does not reach the rooms. You must use it while in lobby or right next to it outside. Our room had a horribly noisy AC unit. Since...

We made reservations here months in advance. The day we were scheduled to fly out of Philadelphia there was a snow storm that closed down the airport and we were unable to get out for 3 more days. This motel charged our credit card and would not refund despite the fact that we called them immediately when we knew we...

We were in the Everglades when a huge storm blew in. We were happy that we had reservations in the nearby Captain's Table to escape from the storm. It is a very basic motel. The rooms are pretty shabby and the hallway looks like a dorm hallway from the 1960's. But it is a great location for doing the Everglades...
