I not sure why someone would want to buy a quaint old style Floridian hotel and basically keep all negatives and TOTALLY remove all the positives but it seems like that is what has been done. The "lush" and kind of private landscape is gone, replaced by what seems like a dull row of patchy palms/fronds. Rooms much more visible...

This property seems to be the stepchild of the North Beach Village. The Grand Palm Plaza is in need of a really good cleaning and painting or maybe someone onsite that cares about the property. Most concerning is the mold growing in the air conditioner and the bumpy wall that has clearly had some water damage. Even after cleaning it...

My first trip to the Grand Palm Plaza was an excellent one. Nice room, attentive staff, clean common areas and pool. My trip over New Years 2016-17 was only tolerable because of the nice guys who came together during a power outage. Absent staff, poor maintenance and no attention to customer service made this a pretty sad final visit to...

As a hotel worker, this place has a lot to learn about the concept of hospitality. I arrived on 03/09/17 and my first impression was that the place was in need of a big remodeling process. It was 10:30 am and I walked to the office and nobody was there. The only employee there told me that I need to...

This resort is great if you want a moderately priced stay, and very close to the beach. (A few blocks). But let's be clear that the rooms are spartan. And as for other reviewers praising the staff, they are not usually right there on the property. So it seems that things are handled by staff servicing many properties at once....

Not sure where to start. Outlets in the room are very limited. Had to unplug a microwave to plug in my cell phone. So much dust - see picture of dust all over wall art. Mold all around tile in tub and the cloth shower curtain is covered in red mold all along the bottom of the curtain. The smell from...

From the moment of check in to the moment of departure, this place failed on every level. I waited for at least five minutes for the individual at the front desk to get off a phone call in which he was speaking Portuguese. In an effort to make friendly, I said good afternoon in Portuguese to which he responded I...

I booked here for a quick 3 night getaway. I do want to say any of the staff I met were all extremely pleasant. BUT, the place was in such need of repair, and it looks like the pool and walkway was patched and repainted so many times that it is an eyesore. The room had fairly new Ikea type...
