Well this place is managed by that huge group from I think Sweden called North Beach Properties I think. No-one ever answers phone, all they want is your money, nickel dime you to death, I was shocked it cost me 10.00 a day to park my car. Rooms were not clean, no beach towels and will never stay here again.

The hotel is very friendly and actually quite a bit larger than I thought. Because of my late planning, we stayed in a king suite. It was very nice and very, very reasonably priced. This hotel is a little rough around the edges and could use some updating, but it was clean and conveniently located. It has two pools and... More

We stayed at other places like the new Royal Palms - one night last March before we asked to be transferred to Lush (as it was the original Royal Palms) and we stayed there many times before). Still great desk service. The guys here are great (Jayme, Rick,Keith, all of them) and so is the housekeeping BUT the amenities are... More

I recently spent three nights at the Lush Royale post cruise. Though it may not be the same as it was several years ago. I had an enjoyable stay. I was promptly and courteously check in by Jay who showed me to my room. The room was clean and reminiscent of old Florida. Quiet, serene and tropical. I'll make a... More

In its heyday, this place was the gold standard for gay guesthouse in Fort Lauderdale. That was then. Now, the place is falling apart. As others have said, if you check in after 6pm, be prepared to wait 15-20 minutes for someone to check you in. The person who checked me in was not the least bit friendly and couldn't... More

I stayed one night and with tax paid $250. Simply not worth it. Breakfast is similar to other gay guest houses. Pool by office is good - and easy to meet other guests. Grounds don't seem to get much attention; plants are in need of care. Night-time colored lights in hottub change every few seconds: really annoying. North building rooms... More

I had a nice time, met nice men, and enjoyed the jellybean heated rainbow pool, but found my reservation was botched. I had to negotiate with management for a suitable replacement for my confirmed reservation. Lucky I brought the printed email confirmation. They wanted to charge me more, but relented. Because I stayed 10 days, I found out other guests... More

After reading many mixed reviews, my partner and I decided to give it a shot and try this place out for ourselves. We arrived on a Thursday afternoon for a two night stay pre-cruise. We were checked in quickly handed a map and shown to our room. We were not given a tour or even told we could use the... More

I have stayed at this hotel several times and have always given it extremely good reviews that I felt to be well earned. On this stay, the vibe was different - I was awakened twice at night by drunken rowdies in the pool. This had never happened. I complained to management who, to their credit, had the guests in question... More
