The hotel is simple but the service and the treatment from the employees is excellent. Thge employees in the front desk, in the housekeeping and even in the bar near the pool makes you feel like you are at home.

Front desk was locked from 5:16 to 7 and no one answered we needed to check in and had to really go use the bathroom cuz theres no bathrooms by the pool or anything and no one seemed to be working. Apparently it happens often, two days later same thing around 4 when we were coming back from the beach realized we lost our key and when we went to go see front desk no one was there and it was locked. Asked the bartender and he seemed to know nothing of why there was no one at the front desk. Also found a roach in our room when we got there

Booking . Com listed this as close to the airport with airport transportation. NOT TRUE. Rooms were okay. There is a pool, and the beach access is across the street and down a block. It worked for a quick one night stay. Book direct for the best rates.

This weekend, I stayed at the hotel. Much to my suprise the hotel over the years continue to display a decay that is not worth reserving anymore. Much to my suprise the Owner does not care about crutial items that need attention in this hotel. I was overcharged on an extention and my last night nearly trippled. Upon question to the front desk attendant threatened to cancel my reservation on a busy tortuga weekend. Stuck with bo choice I shut my mouth, until now. Oversight is poor and customer service lacking at this hotel. I have enclosed a picture one of a roaches found in the restauraunt whom is not registered by the state. I have contacted the Florida Consumer Division and the Board of Health. They have theirs coming! Room found poor and no customer service “at all.” I guve…

Not overwhelming and not worth the price. But it was OK. Not that close to the beach like they say. On a very busy road and parking isn’t good. The room was clean and the staff were nice. One very positive is they don’t allow spring breakers do it was quiet

My bf and myself just came back from spending 3 nights here, It was very quaint and really a nice place, Rooms were very clean and large. Pool was really nice and enjoyable, Met some very nice people at the pool and Matt at the restaurant was so sweet, The food was very good and we ate lunch there every day. He couldn't have been more accommodating and even brought the food out to us. Korman was very friendly and hospitable. We would definitely come back again. Had a very old school vibe and was close to the beach and the pier which is really nice to visit, All in all it was a great place to stay.

Stayed at Ft. Lauderdale Beach Resort Hotel & Suites with my young daughter for Spring Break. We stayed in room 108 bottom floor, Convenient for everything. Rooms were very big and clean. Air worked great so comfortable we slept in every morning. Staff was awesome. Korman at the front desk very friendly. Matt and Linda who run the Grecian Subs & gyro are so sweet and the food is great. Convenient location for the pool, Tiki hut was also perfect location and bartender Nick was friendly and nice to all customers. ( Made great drinks too) It's a very laid back Hotel and felt very safe with just myself and daughter. We took uber to the pier for $5.00 although you could walk. Beach is across the street and gorgeous. We have found a new favorite hotel and will visit again this…

My husband and I just needed a quick weekend getaway so booked very last min. This hotel is fine. The set up it motel style. Rooms are ok. Could use and update but not anything terrible. We found the room to be clean but what I would say about this place is when they clean your room daily, they just kinda clean up like your kids would “clean up” their rooms. They do not change your sheets- normally this would be fine like at home but since there’s sand everywhere.... Other than that everything else was clean. Small pool to dip in. Right across from the beach with easy access. Within reasonable walking distance to most things. There’s some food around as well as Starbucks and Dunkin and some easy stores like Cvs and Walgreens and a Winn Dixie. Full size fridge in the room so that…

Dirty panties laying out in front of the room, standing water in a bucket outside the room, lock missing inside the room and door wouldn’t stay shut. When we decided we weren’t going to stay the young guy at the front desk refused to let me sign the charge receipt and said I was stupid, ugly, and retarded and needed to leave. I told him I was going to call the cops he asked me if I wanted him to come around the desk and kick my old @$$.

Pictures can be deceiving. While it may look nice, it's dumpy. An old place in need of much updating. The elevator is very small and in bad condition. TV cable was just sort of coming through the doorway haphazardly. Noisy rooms that are on top of major traffic route. To use the term breakfast is quite a stretch. The bathrooms are very small and there was an old bar is soap left on the bathroom window ledge. Makes me wonder what else wasn't cleaned. Thankfully we only had to stay overnight. I would not want to stay any longer.
