We were staying at the Ritz for a very special anniversary celebration. The entire staff were superb throughout our stay. We were able to enjoy the benefits of the Club Lounge. The Club staff knew us on a first name basis and were absolutely delightful. Our room was quite nice with beautiful ocean and pool views. There was one area...

At checkin, the gal at front desk was very enthusiastic about my room (1108). The great thing about it was the "corner" location. We had ocean front, but because it was on the corner, the balcony was "wrap around", with views of the intracoastal waterway as well. Balcony was approximately 50-60' in total. There are higher, or lower floors but...

This hotel is beautiful inside and out. The staff, while friendly, does not equal that if other properties. The largest issue was with the Concierge. We asked him to obtain dinner reservations. He was unable to get us in at our preferred restaurant, so he made reservations at another. Later, we looked and found a fair number of bad reviews...

I stayed here 3 nights and really liked the hotel. I was offered an upgraded room on the intercoastal side, and took it. It was a great small suite, which is always appreciated when on a business trip. Extra room to work, and separates work form sleep. I enjoyed the view of all those boats and houses on the waterway,...

This hotel is lovely. The lobby is relaxing and you know you've made a great choice right away. The rooms are quiet and the breakfast buffet is terrific. Nothing like a stressful flight on the day your ships sails where you hope you make it on time. Just do yourself a favor and fly down a day early. Spend the...

I has the pleasure of staying at The Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale this week for a company incentive trip. While staying at a Ritz property is always a great experience, what made this one even more enjoyable is that we took part in a program about leadership from The Ritz-Carlton Leadership Center. This property is located in a very nice part...

I stayed with my husband for our honeymoon and the service was impeccable. We had an ocean front room and it felt like we were on a ship when we looked out the window - all water view. We stayed above the floor with the pool on it, and we did experience some distraction late into the evening because of...

My husband and I just got back from a week traveling from Vero beach Florida then to Palm beach and finished in Fort Lauderdale. When I made the reservation for the last leg of our trip I picked this property because of convenience and location. I also knew if it is a Ritz it has be good. This hotel exceeded...

Although I only stayed here one night, I'm confident in saying this Ritz is amazing! The rooms, pool area, staff and location. If you enjoy the gym while away, no need to take a break on your trip. A fabulous gym that will make you feel at home. Staff is very helpful. Pool area is beautiful. Only downside is the...

This is a Ritz after all and accomodations, amenities and service were first class. Spacious king room with balcony and view to ocean and intra coastal waterway. Palacial bathroom. Pleasant experience at pool with plenty of lounges. Reserved beach with attentive service. During 3-day conference, experienced good meals, though sometimes inefficient service (toasters without nearby electrical outlets or extension cords,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale infuses the Gold Coast with casual luxury as the city's first and only AAA Five Diamond hotel. The 24-story, dramatically tiered and glass walled structure has sweeping curves that are reminiscent of a luxury liner. Design elements recall the 1940's, with artwork that includes playful murals inspired by French artist Jean Cocteau and a 13-foot high mural of a seascape inspired by the 1880 painting, "King Neptune and His Horses." The property features 192 guest rooms and suites; a 2,200 square foot Club Lounge, 24,000 square feet of light-filled meeting space; a 29,000 square foot oceanfront sundeck with an infinity pool and private cabanas; destination Spa with an organic and active-botanical treatment menu and a water-view fitness center. Four dining and entertainment options include the new Via Luna Italian grill with seating indoors or al fresco on an oceanfront patio, the dramatic oceanfront Via Luna Bar, a private Wine Room with a 5,000 bottle wine cellar and a seventh floor Poolside Cafe with commanding ocean views. ... more   less
