My wife and I got a room for 7 nights, and my brother-in-law and his family (wife and two teenagers) stayed 7 nights too. This was during high season (March 11th-March 18th). We live in Fort Myers, but wanted to entertain our relatives at a hotel. We have stayed at this La Quinta in the past. This hotel is close...

We have stated at this Fort Myers LaQuinta for a number of years now. Unfortunately our expectations have not been met as the years have passed. The rooms are very dated. Bathroom cleanliness is not good. Shower Curtin was covered in mold. Bathroom sink backed up without us using the water (this was repaired). There was a power outage for...

This was probably my fourth time at this hotel. I run tours so I had 3 rooms. All the rooms smelled a bit musty or stale. Rooms or a bit small when compared to other hotels in the chain but location is excellent away from the crowds. One of the more expensive hotels rooms in the chain but given location...

I stayed at this location for two days for business and my toilet was clogged for half of my stay. I was only able to resolve the issue by calling the front desk and they brought me a plunger, I had to take care of the issue myself! Other things to consider is that all of the rooms face the...

Prices in Fort Myers jump during season, but it's still depressing to pay $270 for a $70 room. Pool looked clean. Staff were nice. Breakfast was typical: oranges, apples, juice, hot drinks, waffle maker, cereal, instant oatmeal, yogurt, etc. Rooms were a little worn, but the linens were new and the beds were comfortable. Walls are a bit thin. If...

stayed in king executive suite - cushions on couch needed a thorough wash; bed not up to standards (lumpy and slightly unstable); change to out tub: looked new and clean, but too narrow and slippery, soap and shampoo ledge much too narrow to support articles; television too small (decent picture, though); walls thin; noise after midnight as the spring break...

Floors are filthy. Walk on the floors with sox and your sox are black just walking across the floor one time. Feet as well. Needs a complete overhaul. Great location but…………..Beds are horrible. Had a sore back after just one night.

We should have researched further. This place had a great pool. The facility itself is a bit dated. The room had a moldy smell. We cleaned the vents with Lysol and a very black towel resulted. They did not have luggage racks near the elevators. We carried everything by hand. The breakfast was nothing special. In fact we went out...

Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff make all the difference; the rooms are kept very clean and attention is paid to details. We have visited this La Quinta location four times and would recommend it again.

The best thing about this hotel was its location to Sanibel Island. Very close to the bridge to go over to the island. The hotel was fine. It would depend on how picky you are and what your expectations are. My deal breakers are bugs and location. The hotel is not modern but there were no bugs and the cleanliness...
