We booked on Tuesday Nov 28/17 in the morning for that night, as a celebratory date night for my wife's retirement. We then spent the day at Sanibel, checking in at 4. The place is clean and quiet although the carpets slightly show their age....More
Enjoyed our 7 day stay here very much! Loved our 2 room suite and large balcony. We saw dolphins, rays, manatees & many different birds from our balcony. Our room was very well appointed with a wonderfully comfortable bed. We will stay here again!

Mr. Robert T- I'm not sure what's the answer to your question either. I was charged the exact amount as quoted as well but I purchased my reservation through Groupon as they had a deal going on at that time. On a side note, had you thought about using Google Earth to see if you could get a recent satellite image of what it looks like down there now, in case it's not up to what you'd like to go visit? That's a considerable sum to pay to just go visit a lot of destruction😔
