Stayed early in spring break season. Older construction buildings close to road. Appears to be a family run business. Old style registration index cards are their registration system. Very quaint. New mattresses on beds. Older fixtures in good repair. Very accessible to Sanibel. I thought it was worth the money.

Made a quick decision to run to Ft Myers Beach for the holiday weekend. Prices in FMB are crazy so we selected the Tahitian for $129/night. It's basically a cheap motel with all the basics. It was cleaner than most cheap hotels though. Our room smelled clean enough and looked clean enough. The hotel manager was a nice Indian man...

I have stayed in this 'notell motel' a few times. I know what to expect. It is very economical and very close to the Key West Express launch. So, for only $55 a night, the rooms are clean, didn't even smell bad. It is old, but what the heck. Not a problem and the owners are always on site and...

After all the mixed reviews on several sites we were skeptical to stay here but for $55 a night we decided to check it out. It's clean and we saw no bugs. Can't really ask for more at the price. Owners are nice. If you're on a budget give them a try.

Not only has this place had no updating, but it looks like it has been patched and taped together literally !! The room we had, had an adjacent room and it was just taped shut. It was close to the Key West Express, so we thought for a few hours it would be ok. I will never stay there again,...

It's DEFINITELY worth the price when it's NOT season. It's a little antiquated, but very clean. The beds are pretty comfortable, and the owners are nice. Their is a language barrier, but it's worth fighting through for the room. I will most definitely stay here again!

We arrived quite late in the evening, was already dark outside, so we had no possibility to check the surroundings. From the first impression it looked like in the middle of nowhere. Room was clean, nothing posh, very basic but for the price we paid - couldn't ask for more ($55 per night). Friendly owners. When we left the room...

The front desk could have been more professionally run. The front desk managers spoke english sparsely so we had to limit our interactions. I guess that limited their ability to offer suggestions and tips.

I know March is high season in FL, and this motel is fairly near the beaches; however, this hotel was definitely not worth $165.39 (incl. taxes) per night, even so. The bedroom itself was OK - average budget hotel fare - I think some redecorating had been done not long ago, and the bed was clean and comfy. The proprietor...
