We booked late and there weren't many rooms available in Fort Myers Beach. We were in room # 20 and it was just adequate, could use updating.. The kitchen supplies were minimal, bath and pool towels were flimsy and cheap. The grounds are very well...More
We gifted my parents a two night stay at one of the cottages. As has been their previous experience, the stay was perfect. The cottages are great, location perfect and staff wonderful. Unfortunately, as my folks checked out, they had a flat tire on their...More
They are located in a good location. The beach is right across the street and Times Square is a small walk away. Love the cottages. Plenty of places to eat especially at Times Square. Will definitely go back.
Second consecutive stay for Shrimpfest, fifth visit overall, and already re-booked for 2016! Even though the beach is only a 30 second walk away, it's hard to beat the good times hanging with the guests poolside. Kim, Andrea, and the staff went over and above...More
Great location and service. The room was surprisingly quiet given its location to several bars and restaurants. We could only stay one night because we had other reservations down the beach. Next time we will spend our entire stay here.

A Stand up shower in the bathroom, coffee pot, microwave and as medium size refrigerator. Around the corner from the pool. Please visit our website for more photos and a map of the property. There is also a virtual tour option on trip advisor and our site . Hope this helps

I am very familiar with Ft. Myers Beach, and Sanibel Island. I just recently stayed at the Silver Sands for the first time. Its a great place to stay!!! Sanibel is about 15 min. From Ft. Myers beach. Even with the seasonal traffic. On the way back, you might be looking at an hour depending on traffic heading to the beach. The Sanibel bridge has a $6-7 toll. Remember to take beach shoes. Sanibel beach, because of all the shells is hard to walk on. When you get over the Sanibel bridges you will come to a 4 way stop intersection. Make a left and follow the road all the way down to the public beach. You'll have to pay a couple dollars to park. There you will find the public beach, fishing pier, and the Sanibel light house!! There are great places to eat on Sanibel. But remember Sanibel has only two lanes of traffic. One going in, one going out. So traffic can really back up if you want to explore the rest of the island. Check the tide schedule. You'll want to go shelling at low tide. There is also a shell museum on Sanibel. Also Ding Darling Nature Preserve which I recommend if you'd like to see the best of Fla birds and nature while driving through the preserve. (The gators are almost at the end)! So make a day of it, happy shelling!!!!!
