This is the warm relaxing place to stay -short drive/walk to the pier -but far enough for peace and comfort with a piece of Fort Myers Beach to your self. The comforts of home are at your fingertips with the beach at your front steps waiting for you as you open that door to a area of fishing from the...

My husband and I just spent 4 days at wild wave resort. We had the best time. The managers Jack and Sharon were great. They helped with any need we had. (From finding a doctor to finding sea shells). The rooms were clean and comfortable The private beach was right outside our door. Beautiful white sand beach. It was one...

Four of us arrived for the weekend getaway for a chance to relax and unwind and play lots of Bridge! We were greeted by the managers who helped us old folks get our things to the units. We had Unit 2 for our handicapped friends and my girlfriend and I had Unit 10. We were very happy the whole time....

Loved this laid back and friendly atmosphere. The managers, Jack and Sharon welcomed us and made us feel like old friends. We will definitely return. The view from the top balcony was gorgeous. The place is old style yet just right. Don't be disappointed if you're expecting modern amenities. The old style charm is right up our alley, we loved...

Excellent beach access. Helpful owners with anything you request. Downstairs unit is very spacious. Close to a lot of restaurants and walkable areas just blocks away to downtown. Quiet. Two grills on premises available for use. Lots of beach chairs. They even had kid toys which was great for our son! Pet friendly.

Loved this old style Florida accommodation! We arrived on July 3 and stayed for 3 nights. I loved the palm trees and the shade that they provided! Very unusual to have a few shade trees on a FL beach! As other reviewers have mentioned, this isn't a 5 star resort, but nicer than I expected! Nice ceramic tile floors and...

This is what I call "old Florida" - homey little rooms in a large house (actually 2 houses side by side). Each one has it's own exterior door. We've stayed here twice and gotten room #11. You are literally right on the beach! You can sit in your room (when it's too hot) and watch the ocean waves. When you...

We arrived without a reservation and were happy to find the Wild Wave. It couldn't have worked out any better. The perfect place to relax and enjoy the beach. We asked Jack where we could find a used book store and he showed us to his selection of books - didn't need anything else to make our trip complete. Close...
