Stayed in the anticipation room of Camellia Rose, and had an amazing and restful experience. Pat and Tom are kind, accommodating, helpful, and have little extras to make the stay special. Thank you Pat and Tom for a lovely time!

Thank you to Pat and Tim for a delightful weekend at their beautiful home in Gainesville. The room was beautifully decorated and was very large and clean. Pat accommodated our vegan diet at breakfast. The house is located close to the historic downtown where some of the area's best shops and restaurants are located. The home is also situated in...

Recently, my sister and two of my girlfriends planned a bachelorette weekend for me in Gainesville. We stayed at the Camellia Rose Inn and it was wonderful. The girls know how much I love historic places, so when they decided on the area, the Camellia Rose was a perfect fit for lodging. Pat was a wonderful host who made us...

My husband and I wanted a mid-week getaway with options of visiting museums and state parks, or just sitting around and relaxing. The Camellia Rose Inn was perfect for this. Situated just blocks from Downtown, there was easy access to restaurants and shops, about a 10 minute walk away. It was also an easy drive to the UF campus as...

We stayed one night at "another b and b" in Gainesville at almost twice the price of Camellia Rose, before moving over. Our room, the welcome, and the service we received at Camellia Rose far exceeded the other. There were fantastic brownies always set out in the dining room, wine and cheese, a delicious breakfast, and a mini-fridge for guest...

This is our second visit to the Camelia Rose Inn. This trip we stayed in the room called Inspiration. It was clean, spacious, bedding and linens comfortable. WIFI available and seemed to work fine. TV in room but never turned it on! Afternoon wine and cheese a nice touch. Guest fridge stocked with water and sodas. Yummy brownies available too!...

There is no other place to stay when coming to Gainesville. Minutes from great restaurants, night life and the Campus but more importantly, it's like being home. Great Owners, great staff, fantastic accommodations, pillows I'd like to steal.

Our two sons go to University of Florida. In the beginning, we stayed at local hotels. The best options were the Hilton on 34th Street & the Downtown Hampton Inn. But one day we couldn't get into those hotels, so based upon friend's recommendation, my wife & I decided to stay at a bed & breakfast. Camilla Rose was not...

The Camellia Rose Inn is located about a seven minute walk from the downtown heart of Gainesville in the Historic Bed and Breakfast District. Really a very beautiful little corner of town with gas lantern-styled street lights and large trees covered with Spanish moss. This area magically manages to combine charm and quiet with convenience. The Inn itself is lovely...
