The staff was very helpful and anxious to serve all our needs. The facility is centrally located and just perfect for our needs. I enjoyed the fitness center several times, each morning. I will certainly return.
Hotel was outstanding. Great experience at checkin. Greeted with a smile and warm and friendly. Checked us in super quick! The room was clean and well stocked. We want to thank you Marriott for delivering your brand experience! I recommend this hotel.
Well kept facility with comfortable and clean rooms. The hotel is in a good location with shops and restaurants nearby. Everyone was pleasant and check-in/check-out were quick and easy. I would definitely stay here again.
So clean and great service so accommodating will for sure come back again it was by some nice little areas like the sponge docks in Tarpon. The staff to the managers were so awesome. Thank you for the nice time and great service I am glad we choose here.

We had a family reunion and stayed at this hotel (2 rooms) for 3 nights. The first night we arrived very late and there were ants in our bed and on the furniture. I soon realized that I had bites and swelling all over my neck etc. and needed urgent medical care. Our second room (for my two sons... had no TV and the air conditioning sounded as if a training was in the room. They stated that they were sold out and count change rooms. They eventually did change the room on the final night. Only response that I received after numerous complaints, concerns, calls was "I am sorry, there is nothing that I can do." ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE... DO NOT STAY HERE.. .YOU WILL BE SORRY
We as a family have always preferred Marriott Lodging accommodations over the years and have been a frequent and faithful guest at Fairfield Inns, Courtyard by Marriott’s & Residence Inns going back to my active-duty time with the US Coast Guard spanning nearly 20 years. Also to note I have been a Marriott/Bonvoy Rewards member for at least 8 years. With this being said this most recent stay at the Fairfield Inn in Holiday/Tarpon Springs, FL from 7/7-7/9/22 could not have ended more horribly and has shaken my faith and loyalty to the entire Marriott Lodging brand. We have always been “late risers” on vacations and family outings in hotels and often need additional time to check-out from our rooms and will request a later check-out time which is 95%+ of the time absolutely no problem at all and should be viewed as an extremely common and anticipated daily request from a consistent percentage of guests within the lodging community. At least a handful of guests on nearly every morning should be expected to either be running too slow to check-out at the required time or simply oversleep and need more time by default. After a series of reasonable calls to the front desk manager where she countered with zero flexibility to our obvious needs they actually called the non-emergency Pasco County Sheriffs line after only 30 minutes!! An excessive diatribe is most definitely in order after a bad decision as this. There was absolutely NO reason for this front desk/shift manager to react to our request in this way when we called initially, also when we called a second time…and certainly even after we remained in the room at/around 11:30AM. To treat us as I mentioned like criminals and degenerates after a half-hour is not only unreasonable but unconscionable in the service industry and by no way shows any ability to meet the needs of the customer and GUESTS in this lodging relationship. If by staying in room 101 we were not allowed to request late checkout because this disrupted the housekeeper flow of cleaning the rooms from the ground floor up (assuming this hotel operated in this way), this is NOT a smart way to operate. Any room on any floor should be given the same opportunity or possibility of needing a later checkout for one reason or another and we clearly NEEDED this later checkout on this morning as given by my explanation and our reasonable requests. This is and was unacceptable treatment of my family as guests and patrons and some action should be taken to address this completely avoidable and hurtful reaction and decision by this manager. We left and felt offended, shamed, and made to feel like trash and unimportant on this respective morning. And this happening right after a painful visit to our loved one’s cemetery plots the evening before. This is not a feeling an establishment or brand should be prideful of leaving with a guest/customer, particularly when it was the direct result of an employee at the business who handled the situation beyond poorly and failed to meet the needs of my family as guests. There is zero justification for anything we said or blurted through a closed hotel door after being blind-sided with the “threat” of police involvement after only a half-hour beyond the check-out time with a family with two kids. There is nothing more to add to the story that would justify the actions of this quick-tempered manager. Do not stay at this Fairfield Inn!, horribly run by poor management who does not see the injustice and overreaction with this incident. Too many other options in that general area, where late checkout if needed would undoubtably not result in this!!…
I booked this hotel through a third party site but experience a family emergency. After spending the first night out of my schedule two day stay I experienced an emergency. Although the manager could’ve refunded the second night she refused. It took her days to respond to my message left on her cell phone. Both the front desk agent and I tried reaching her. Had I known I would be charged even if checked out earlier than expected, I would’ve avoid this place. Now let’s get into my actual stay. When my family first arrived we were hit with the strongest smell of beach/clearing product. The hotel lighting is dark. The rooms are dated. The bathroom lights are controlled by a master light switch. My top comforter had a stain. The overall room felt dated. Safety was a concern. We had a small child with us and it was scary passing a parking lot of young men late in the late evening. These men who were guest had three vehicles with the doors open. Smoking pot and gathering around in a circle. The pool was being occupied late in the night. Despite all of these disappointing acts I was prepared to continue my stay. This is not the standard I have grown to know throughout the years from Marriott. The good reviews is not my experience at this hotel. Book with caution and at your own risk.…
I guess I thought this would be in Tarpon Springs, a nice area. It’s not. A busy road. Abandoned building next door. Cars whizzing by. Transients. Some of the other folks looked a bit sketchy. I smelled marijuana smoke (I believe it’s a non-smoking hotel). On arrival, I wasn’t greeted as an Ambassador level guest nor was I offered my 500 point gift. More than that, I had called 8 hours earlier to get a ground floor room near the entrance - I had a bunch of heavy bags and a long drive. I was assured it was taken care of but wasn’t. The upgraded room on the 4th floor was nice, but I had specifically said I’d be happier with the ground floor than an upgrade. Around 10:30, I went to my car for a minute and three county sheriff cars were in the driveway with police on site. That was a bit worrying given the current state of things. I asked if everything was ok and was brushed off with a “nothing to worry about”. As if I was a child. I left the next day even though I has been think about a longer stay. It’s just a very urban, anonymous, not that welcoming kind of place. The Manager left me a welcoming note but nobody asked me how my stay had been. And nobody offered to help me in any way with my luggage (other hotels had). I’m being fairly kind only rating this average. I don’t choose a hotel to add inconvenience to my day…
This seems to be a new-ish Fairfield Inn. Our room was clean and comfortable. Housekeeping is done only as requested. Friendly and courteous check-in. The included breakfast is serviceable and the room is spacious. The lady who maintains the breakfast area is very nice and accommodating. On very busy Rte 19, there's really no place you can take a walk to from the hotel.
