I’m gonna save you time if you don’t want to read the full review, please just don’t waste your time going or booking. I am not picky and never write bad reviews but this hotel was disgusting. Little bugs all over the room, smelled like cigarettes everywhere, moldy air vents, roaches and a huge rat. We were there a total of one hour and got a new hotel. the pictures looked decent but my room and the room my mom and brother stayed in were horrible. She literally got bit by a bed bug and was only on the bed for a few minutes. No trash can in our bathroom, shower floor was disgusting and toilet was gross. questionable stains on bed. I should’ve taken pictures for proof to steer future goers away but the entirety of the time I was there was spent looking for another hotel I just needed to gtfo.

We booked this hotel based off of this listing to add an extra night to a previously scheduled trip. We drove overnight, 7 hours, with a child in the backseat. When we showed up a little after 4 AM we were told that we missed the deadline and that they wouldn’t check us in. What deadline?!? We sat in the parking lot until we felt unsafe with local foot traffic and called other hotels until someone (Quality Inn) had a vacancy and would accommodate us. On top of that, this hotel refused to give us a refund! We are currently in the process of disputing the charge with Expedia and our bank as the hotel clerk lies and says we never showed up.

I called for a room to stay in as I’ve stayed there before and when I called to reserve I wasn’t told the rear parking lot was closed. This was an issue as I had a boat with me but no place to park it. When the rear lot is open it is wonderful as it’s large and actually has dedicated parking spots for a boat/truck in one spot. No need to disconnect for the night. They are located close to the rear doors so it’s easy to go to the ice machine and fill up a cooler and take it right out to the boat. However this was no accessible when I called to book the room. There were 3 spots open for regular car parking in the entire lot. I understand that it was spring break but why do maintenance on the lot during one of the most peak times of the year? Had I known the parking was inadequate I would have looked elsewhere. I went inside and talked with the desk attendant and started to try and brain storm as it was already past 9pm. There were cones blocking the rear lot on the west side near the Ford dealership and the only thing I could think of would be to move the cones 15ft more south as it would allow traffic to drive around me without an issue. The attendant called a manager and maintenance to ask and they approved my idea to move the cones. I was leaving at 6:00am anyway so I wasn’t going to be in anyone way going into the rear lot to work and there was an electrical hookup (which was mandatory for me) available. The attendant hung up the phone and said I could try fitting over there or they would refund the charge for the booking. Now being after 9:30pm there weren’t any other hotels I could just drive off to that was close as I had already called them while waiting to get an answer about moving the cones. Being parked where I was I had to carry my bags and gear a long distance and it certainly inconvenienced my stay. It’s not easy carrying a cooler full of ice that far let alone my other items. So while the room was pleasant, staff was nice, and breakfast was good the whole ordeal really soured my experience staying there. I’ve stayed there in the past and that’s why I decided to come back however this will make me think twice next time I come down. The competitor across the street also has hook ups and space for boat parking and will compare next time before just selecting your establishment without asking questions beforehand. I’ve really enjoyed my stays there before as the amenities fit my needs, I need a place to park as my first need. If I can’t park my rig then nothing else really matters. Thank you, Daryl

I never take my time to make reviews, but I HAD to...Just do yourself a favor and DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT stay here. I had no idea what I was walking into, I had to book a hotel last second for literally one night, not even, after landing in Tampa....and this was the only one I found, I went for the cheapest..80.00 for that night. Walked in at 3am, smelled like smoke, cigarette holes on comforter, dirty, broken down, dirty walls, old, and the worst part was waking up with a sore throat because I swear, those air ducks must be so dirty and moldy, plus my niece woke up from a strong stench of urine on her sheets and comforter....we were so tired we didnt bother, we just "napped" for 5 hours and left. I left my ID and they didn't' even bother calling me, I asked if they could mail it to my home address, no response, still waiting....it's the least they could do.

The hotel was so disgusting. There were so many cockroaches on the bed, floor, sink. The sheets had so much hair on it. Felt like I would catch some kind of disease just by being in the room. I had to checkout, could not stay the night. Do not recommend

Booked a pool side room. Clerk says air/heat went out in room we booked. Stuck us in "BACKUP ROOM". Most disgusting place I've ever seen! And I've stayed a lot of places. DNA all over sheets and mattress covers. Dirty pillowcases. Dirty towels in bathroom. Supposed to have kitchenette, lucky to have microwave and fridge. If not for having GYMNASTICS COMPETITION in the morning at 8AM we would drive the 2 hours back home and left home at 6 am. Try to save some time and end up getting screwed!! Look at their pictures then look at mine. BTW, lounge and restaurant are being remodled. Go figure!

We had driven from NC to Clearwater and were exhausted by the time we got to this hotel. We had reservations. We pulled into the parking lot and a lot of shady people walking around. We walk into our room and shocked to find food still in the fridge, dirt all over the floor. Mirrors were dirty, tons of hair in the bathtub. The guy in the room next to us was verbally advising his wife and kicked her out of the room with a baby!! It was 7:30 at night and we didn’t care where else we stayed, but not there!

My wife, 14 year old daughter and I arrived at the Holiday Hotel on US 19 in Holiday, FL at about 8:30pm on New Year's Eve. We walked through the courtyard which had a few shady characters in it. The room smelled of cleaning product and looked ok, so we dropped our bags and left to go to downtown St. Pete. After the festivities we returned to the Holiday Hotel after midnight to find some really diturbing things. First, was a cup that had fallen between the fridge and the counter. When we took a closer look there were pills in the cup and on the floor. Then in the bathroom we found what I can only say was blood on the side of the bathtub. There was also black hair on the floor and an old ripped up towel hanging in the shower. The towels that were folded in the bathroom were tattered and looked like they'd been used. Obviously, we could not stay there and complained. I was told there were no other rooms and we couldn't get the refund till I talked to Mr. Ravi. So at 2:00 am we drove 2 hours home, ruining our plans. I called Monday morning and left a message, called again Tuesday. And finally Mr. Ravi replied, asking me if I was from Florida. He indicated that he was in New Jersery, that he had only owned the hotel for five months, wasn't the best area and that I should not had stayed there with my young daughter... I guess I know better now. I was refunded. This is just warning. You may want to pass up the Holiday Hotel - 2337 U.S. Highway 19, Holiday, FL.

Josh and Rick were great! The shuttle was a great choice! I highly recommend! I would pick them over an app any day! Josh was very kind and helpful. The shuttle runs until like 12am and I would not do anything else!

Everything about this hotel is half-assed. Half painted badly, not well cleaned, no coffee pot, television remote with no guide, no-smoking facility , but the blanket had numerous cigarette holes, which they try to hide by using the flat sheet on top of the blanket. In other words they used a fitted sheet on the mattress then put a blanket over that and then put a flat sheet over the top of the blanket . I remade the beds and found the reason for the dumbass way they make the beds, the blanket they wanted touching my skin was filthy. If you don't want the blanket over you you cannot have a sheet over you. The tub / shower is full of soap scum no shine whatsoever and a cigarette burns on the tub. On the plus side the air conditioner worked well.
