I am usually a very positive reviewer but I am also an honest person. I must say the Guitar Hotel is Stunning and the scenic views are Magnificent and very delightful. On the other hand Customer Service was very poor. I made my reservation more than 6 months in advance. I was told to call back in 3 months so they could apply the Florida Resident Discount. When I called back to ask for the Discount they told me it didn't apply to the room I was staying in. At the time I made my reservation I was GUARANTEED the Discount. I was not informed that the Discount did not apply to certain rooms. I stayed at The Guitar Hotel and used their Valet Service. One night they closed down the Valet for the Guitar Hotel for whatever reason. I spoke to Aaron the Valet Manager which assured me that if I take my vehicle to the Valet at the Hard Rock Hotel they will bring it to me at the Guitar Hotel whenever I needed my vehicle. Of course this didn't happened and when I spoke to AARON the next morning he was extremely rude and passive aggressive! Once again a Team Member does not follow through with their promises and on top of that shows no respect for customers.

We're staying here Hard Rock Hollywood for second time. However the pool is not available on our side of hotel North tower. Very annoyed. We have a gorgeous pool view but can't use it. Instead we have to walk all the way thru entire casino to go on other side to use that pool. Which is packed w people snd I personally plucked. Corona can and water bottle out of the pool! Pool staff not walking around so I finally went to pool bar to purchase 2 beers and one regular pina colada. $40!!! At night stopped in restroom after dinner at Bol. Bathroom needed care. No toilet paper in one stall! They said when I went back to front check in that they only open pool on weekends! So in other words we DONT MATTER! Very disappointed! And you’ll see in photos the mess that was in the bathroom left for us. By Friday we were able to use pool by our room which is closed mon- Thursday The waiters bartenders and security staff were excellent but I feel for the money they charge for a room they should be on it and taking care around pool to make sure it’s clean at all times. I agree people are slobs but there’s plenty of pool staff to walk around and keep it clean

We go twice a year and have a great time every time...but I feel compelled to talk about the Front Desk issue again...I don't understand why there is a climate of unfriendly rude staff...why is this not addressed by management, why are the staff allowed to treat customers this way...Upon check in two of us had two different staff members, both unfriendly and one nasty and rude..This front desk person told us she could put us in any room she wanted, we booked guitar hotel..she wanted to put us in Oasis Tower, she said we had "comp room" so we "didn't pay for the room" so she could put us anywhere ...Well isn't that the most misinformed ignorant attitude...Maybe management should tell the staff that a comp room is given to someone who spends a lot of money at the hotel every time they go, and that is why they are given a comp room...apparently the front desk staff doesn't know this....On checkout we had Tito, who was the nicest person, very helpful, and helped us with getting a taxi...Maybe management could direct other staff take direction from him... Our pool experience was great...the pool staff are overworked and smile and do the best they can...The hotel is immaculate, always someone cleaning...room was decent, not real clean...Kuro was amazing...Council Oak was overpriced...Rise is a very understated restaurant...the food for breakfast is great...the wait staff is amazing...Marco was our waiter and he was possibly in top 3 of waiters I have ever experienced at a restaurant anywhere. Hard Rock was good, except for a very rude waitress who freaked out on us for moving a chair to the bar... Casino floor drink service was non-existent, understanding short staff of course. Slot payouts were better than last time. Not smokey inside casino at all... Overall great as always, despite the front desk staff which has to be addressed by management...not holding onto hope there...will always come back because of all the other positives...

The signage within the hotel is not good. We were in the Hollywood Tower, but there were no signs for that. We asked 6 or 7 employees where it was, and got mostly incorrect answers. When we got to the room, the cleaner was still there, and asked us to wait 15 minutes. We sat in the floor in the hall. The room was adequate, but no water (as is typical for the Hardrock hotels).
