This is a nice place. We had zero problems during our stay. I would definitely stay here again. The carpet was stained, which gave it the appearance of not being clean, but it was ok. The room smelled until we turned on the air conditioner, and I purchased some air freshener, which helped.
We stayed at La Quinta Inn & Suites in Hollywood before going on a cruise. It was quiet, room was clean. Some areas need refurbishing though. I love the location, it's close from shops and restaurants. I wish the fitness center could open before 9 am... Because its located immediatly next to a guest room, hours are limited. The buffet was very limited as well because of the Covid. I would have liked to have more choices than wrapped bagels. The staff was kind and helpful. I was looking to book this hotel again next June but it's not available because it seems it has been sold.
Stayed for a night before a cruise. The positives included a friendly front desk manager and a great location super close to the airport, restaurants, shopping, cruise port, etc. Negatives: In urgent need of a makeover that includes tossing out and burning the mattresses on the sleeper beds. Super thin walls allow you to hear conversations across the hall. The breakfast is as basic as it gets. This location is prime for a great hotel along the lake. Unfortunately the hotel is worn down and needs urgent attention.
Service terrible/non-existent. Inquired about a taxi - told "you can look that up on your phone". Asked for extra pillows (acid reflux) - told "you have pillows in your room" followed by "if you really need some, come down to the desk and get them". Room amenities non-existent. No literature about services, nearby restaurants, taxis, etc.. Also no tissues, no paper towels, no plastic bag for laundry. Broken TV remote; TV screen so small, we had to get out of bed to read channel guide. We stayed the night of 12/18 and WILL NEVER GO BACK. $220.00 for one night and the quality was virtually non-existent; suspect it was not as good as Motel 6 or other economy motels. Refund our money please!!!!
My room stunk my whole stay! I asked twice for another room and everything was booked. The carpet was full of stains and I had to use my shoes the whole time because I was afraid to be barefoot. Internet doesn't work, staff service are nor friendly and location is bad. I felt unsecure. The price is not worth it!! I don't recommend this hotel at all.
