Transitioning management or owners - not good time to stay

Our room looked nothing like the room in the picture. When we stayed it seemed they were transitioning management or owners. Lots of old furniture, bedding, etc was piled up for the trash I assume, near the grill and picnic table so we were unable to use. The bed was very uncomfortable and there was a large, useless table in the corner of the room that just took up space in an already small room. The bathroom could use a deep clean and recaulking. There was mold on the shower curtain. We stayed in February - oddly not a choice in the drop down on "when did you visit"

Hi Sylvia...Since you came 2 months ago (Feb. 20, 2022, for 3 nights), the new owners had just arrived 6 days prior and started to do the renovations immediately. When you had booked, the room you booked was exactly like the original pictures from the previous owner that is true. The new owners did not like anything and so they removed the old bedding and furniture from the rooms in order to renovate them into the really nice beds and furnishings that you see in the current pictures. The old furniture and bedding are what we put on the side of the building waiting for a company to pick them up. The showers have new caulking, there are new sinks with vanities as well as toilets. We would love to have you return and see that the rooms are exactly as pictured. I wish I had known when you were here that you were displeased and maybe we could have assisted in some way. They just completed all the renovations on all the rooms and uploaded the new pictures today...the same day we received your review. Please when you return to visit u, if there is anything you are displeased with, please do not hesitate to tell me immediately.

Hotel's Favourite

Best 3 months ever

Unbelievable location, just steps from the Beach and famous Hollywood Broadwalk. Imagine sitting out your front door and watching the ocean or people watch along tje Broadwalk. The south end is quiet and peaceful, but if you want some action lime food, tiki bars, live music or fine dining just take a short walk or a nice bike ride. We stayed here for 3 months and enjoyed every day. Lisa is awesome and extremely knowledgeable about the local area and always ready to help make your stay better. When we arrived in January we found Marine Villa under new ownership and saw major changes during our stay. The new owners are giving this beautiful location a wonderful new look and it is all for the better. This is now a very comfortable, extremely clean, safe and relaxing location. We loved the neighborhood and we were treated like family. I highly recommend this establishment. The 1 bedroom we stayed in had everything you could possibly need for a wonderful vacation and if you do need anything just ask Lisa and she will do her best to find ot for you. You can cook a gourmet meal or have a cookout on the shaded patio. We were sad to leave and can't wait to come back next year. Thank you Lisa, Mara, Pierre and Donny. It was a pleasure.…

Perfect destination

Very nice experience, 2 steps from the beach! I highly recommend it to fully enjoy the beach and the Florida sun! I love this place. Nice and quiet. Nice restaurant very close by walk from it. I enjoy walking on the board walk in from of the beach and the hotel.

PERFECT FOR VACATION

I recommend this place ! This was so fun, everything was perfect. Very close to the beach + boardwalk. It was super clean inside the room. I loved my week there. You will enjoy it because it’s really fun

Darling Place

I actually stayed here a few years ago but just walked past it today. Im staying w my mom in the area. It is as lovely as ever. The owner keeps the place imaculate inside and out. Would highly reccomend!!
