I have been on many wonderful World Woods golf trips over the past 15 years. Hotel Chassahowitzka made this our best trip ever! The hotel sleeps eighteen but each of the eight guys in our group had their own room. (Snoring was not an issue!). There are shared bathrooms but each has multiple showers and stalls. Jeff and his attentive...

Second time I have stayed here. First was eight years ago when I first met David. Enjoyed my stay then and did this week. David, Paula and Jeff were very accommodating and friendly. Also fun to meet other travelers that stay here. Hotel is clean, clean, clean. Lots of character.

Our group of 12 guys stayed at The Chaz early October. Jeff organized golf (Black Diamond and World Woods), a morning of fishing and the meals ahead of time. Jeff and Deb were great hosts, and David provided the local color with stories of his family's legacy at the Chaz. The rooms are clean. The food is great, and the...

Our trip for our 18th Anniversary couldn't have been off to a better start! Jeff greeted us like old friends and was so helpful, showing us around, even offering to make special dinner reservations! The hotel was exceptionally clean, well appointed and just lovely... We felt completely at home in the peaceful setting! We'll be planning a family trip and...

Just had an overnight at the Chaz Hotel. Jeff and Deb were very hospitable. The lodge is in a great location within walking distance of the river and kayaking. The room was clean. They connected me with Carla at Kayak Caravan who got me set up on the Chaz. This is a lodge with shared space and bathrooms. Only complaint...

Comfortable accommodations and lots of hospitality. Very convenient to golf at World Woods. I would highly recommend it. Had nice breakfast prepared by Jeff and he really went out of his way to take care of all our needs. Even found something my son left and dropped it off at World Woods for us to collect when we finished golfing....

We arrived here toward the end of a multi-day bike tour. The hotel, which could be described as a lodge, is very comfortable, updated to modern standards and historic. The beds are comfortable, the furnishings comfortable. Our group was very happy here. We had the run of the house. Although there are shared baths upstairs, nobody thought that a problem....

I feel fortunate that our travel companion, hell-bent on showing her citified girlfriends from the North (Philadelphia) the treasures of off-the-beaten-path Florida, booked us into the Chasshowitzka Hotel. To manage your expectations: it is a four star experience of a rustic B&B-type accommodation. We three women were fine bunking together and the room that we shared had three beds, immaculately...

My husband and I and three other couples had a fantastic time here on a biking trip. I live in Florida but never knew of this community on the gulf. We had the hotel to ourselves and enjoyed pizza we had ordered while sitting in rocking chairs on the porch. The owner, whose family has lived in the area for...

We just stayed at the Chaz for an 8 person golf trip. The place was very clean, the staff was awesome and the food was great. It was a pleasure to come back to a relaxing place to eat, drink, play cards and socialize. It was close to Worlds Woods, which made it very convenient.

Thank Devjer
