Best place i can imagine. AMAZING place to stay. The attention to detail is awesome. Even the toilet flush handle was stylized. Outside its clear the place was built long ago. Like a 1955 Chevy though it has been kept in mint condition. Right on the beach. IMMACULATE. Well equipped kitchen. Great sitting room with huge tv. Also a tv...

This was a perfect "Old Florida" seashore location. Beach was great, private and clean. Rooms were nice size, clean and we had a great view with the ocean front second floor room. Staff was very accommodating! We would definitely stay here again!

thank you for your review. "Old Florida" is what we like to call Tuckaway's style too. Surprising how many younger people are drawn to the retro or authentic Florida style when they can't possibly remember that wonderful time in Florida's past. We like to think that Tuckaway is a great representative of what Florida's lodging "used" to look and feel...

We discovered this hotel last year, and was so impressed we decided to visit this year, often when revisiting it is not as good as you remember, not the case here. Although there has been a lot of staff changes in this small hotel, the new and remaining staff have continued to prove excellent accommodation. We had a 2nd floor...

This is a small three story resort (with no elevator), where most rooms face right on the ocean. At the end of July, there were very few beach goers, so if you want to avoid the crowd then this is the place to go. The rooms are small, about 800 sq ft, but are clean and well maintained. Ideal for...

As always, we appreciate our guests' reviews of their stay. Our kitchenettes actually get used for full course meals more than you think. Many of our guests staying a few days to a month never leave the site for meals at restaurants; they prepare all meals in the kitchenette; well maybe on the Big Green Egg too. We hope you...

A group of us rented two separate third floor suites and it is definitely the way to go. We had views of the ocean that are so much more private than the "skyscraper" hotels and condos in the area. We had our own walkway to the beach and it was private and comfortable. The rooms were fully equipped kitchenette and...

I lived in Brevard for 18 years, but everytime I return I try to spend at least a night there. My girl friend absolutely loves it and considers it very romantic. It's on the ocean, reasonably priced, friendly, clean, and not another corporate hotel. Nice to go out in the morning and run on the beach. Go South about a...

Outstanding place for a family reunion - highly recommended! The suites are large and extremely clean! We stayed ocean front on the first floor, but it was so quiet. We were there over the 4th of July and even with the property full of parties, it was still very quiet - the walls are cinder block. The bathroom and kitchen...

We love family reunions; it's fun for us to see so many have such a good time together. We have a reunion here this weekend and one each of the next two weekends. Some seem to go all out and some just want more relaxation and not a lot of hoopla. Thank You for letting us know that you enjoyed...

What a quaint little place. A retro/vintage motel with new life! We stayed just one night on the way to West Palm and were quite pleasantly surprised with our suite. We stayed in a 2nd floor facing the ocean and it was very clean. They provide beach towels, chairs, pool noodles and other beach type toys to make traveling to...

we're always so pleased when we hear that our guests were "pleasantly" surprised with our little authentic Florida style property. Little by little, we hope to convert more guests of the "big boy" hotel chains to re-think where they want to stay. We're happy you found us to your liking and hope to have your return visit

Location, beautiful, room had the amenties needed, kitchenette recently updated, clean, but the mattress on the queen size bed needs to be replaced. Can't believe they would retain a mattress in such worn out condition.

Thank you for your review; we try very hard to make sure our suites and property are very well maintained for the best experience we can offer our guest. However, we always appreciate it when a guest' calls us out, as that helps to identify any issues we need to address. Our mattresses are due to be replaced late this...

Tuckaway Shores is a comfortable vintage motel on the beach with new life. The grounds, building, and decor are very well maintained. Our suite was spotlessly clean. It's cozy for two, with kitchette, and current day amenities. My rating is 4, I believe there is always room for improvement.
