Great place to relax with friends and family. Right on the river, lots of trees. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Good restaurants and bars all around. Tiki hut for use for big occasions, pool and long dock for fishing. They do allow dogs which is unfortunate, not everyone is good about picking up after them.

I have to tell you, it's the old FL I loved and remembered. Sadly, the town around it is beginning to look like Miami is beginning to move north. This is a great place to fish, the grounds are beautiful and we never even looked at the television. The view was entertainment enough. Is it the Ritz Carlton, goodness no! It doesn't purport itself to be. The beds are comfortable, the linens doable and the kitchen more than adequately appointed. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Most importantly, the place was clean. We had the 4 bedroom house, which is great for a family (or 2) with kids. We were there during Spring recess and despite the kids being lost in paradise, the cabins are so spaced, no threats of your privacy being invaded. A suggestion would be to bring your bikes and beach chairs for outdoor seating. Loved it and hope to return shortly.

A perfect slice of natural florida heaven. These cottages are AMAZING….so spread apart…so secluded…so much waterfront access. Perfect to let the kids just wander and explore…or enjoy dusk and dawn walks on the private river beach. The very best of old florida style …i fell in love with the whole area!

We were there with 10 other couples, great location, great central located tiki hut for gatherings, etc. Except, cockroaches in Cottage #21! Saw 4 in the early morning, packed up and left a day early. Stopped at office and told them, the Manager said "the exterminator was just here, maybe that is what stirred them up", hellloooo, if he was just there, they should of been dead, not running around and hanging out on the bedroom wall! He offered us nothing, therefore, this bad review. And do not go barefoot in cottage, your feet will be totally black.

OK, so I like to start with the pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cottages were quaint and well kept, with wonderful views of the water and plenty of privacy. Very quiet. The beach was so nice! Everything the Keys offers at half the price and less congested! The kitchen was well appointed and had everything you would need. There was a coin laundry attached to the cottage and ice is available at a minor cost, even though the manager gave it to us for free. Bring peanuts! There is a horde of extremely friendly squirrels who will literally climb on to your lap and take peanuts from your hand! The whole town of Jensen Beach is so quiet and laid back, and so is the River Palm cottages. A perfect place to get away from it all. The cons: The property and furniture need updating. The outside patios had tables and chairs which were rusty and needed to be replaced. The AC was extremely loud, but worked fine. So....if you're looking for fancy, go somewhere else. If you want easy, old Florida, laid back, this is the place for you.

Although we didn't stay there a drive down from Kissimmee was worth the look for future stays, the place was very home style and looked very well kept, cute little beach, and a very nice fishing dock, the place is pet friendly, the little cottages looked very, but we didn't look inside.

I love this place. Greta location to congregate with family or friends. Rent several cottages and hang out. Close to local places to eat and socialize. Hang out on property and bbq. Fishing is a must in this area, grab a charter trip locally. Happy Vacation.

The cottages are clean and kept up well. There are many options as to how many they sleep. The grounds are very pretty with coconut trees. The beach on the inter coastal is a great place to relax. Although we did not fish it was nice to walk out on the pier to look for sea life

This place is so beautiful and takes you back to a time in Florida that doesn’t exist in too many places. Tropical foliage and palm trees swaying over the Indian River. Beaches were close by. It was heaven on earth.. the cottages were clean and well equipped. Owners were awesome and accommodating. We loved everything about it and will be back real soon.....
