The negatives far outweigh the positives. Customer Service is non-existent. "Tom" can't be bothered by petty things like giving the customer the wrong room type, even tho I paid for a $315.00 per nite room, and received a lesser room. He claimed all the rooms are the same price and they are all booked up, so nothing can be done. Ahhh, the old bait and switch. His indifference made ALL the differnce in this review. There's not much a customer can do when there's no onsite manager. This remote managing is the downfall of true customer service. Curiously, the parking lot was never ever full in the 5 nites we stayed. Now, I think I've been lied to, about the Full House. The hotel didn't have many operating outdoor lights at nite. Not good for safety. Being a former travel agent, I started chatting up my fellow resort guests. Eight out of ten were as unimpressed as my friend and I were. The other two got the room they ordered and had no complaints. The positives: very lovely landscaping, the gardens are awesome and well cared for. The pier is a plus and gives a nice view. The pool area is maintained and clean. And the location is quiet. It's a shame, this place could be a real jewel. …

4th visit and it is worse every time. I keep trying to re-create the first stay and it is just a NO and HARD PASS to even recommend. Dirty. 5 stars for filth and lack of cleaning, dirt in filters, no drains in the sink…. Think of the gas station bathroom around the back of the station with a key… Sheets are horrible, they don’t give sheets for the pullout sofa and when you ask they sent us on a whole goose chase to find our own, finally they brought us two fitted sheets. Marketed as a efficiency but no knives, no salt and pepper, one tiny 6” fry pan 2 coffee cups and 2 plates. For the same price as the Marriot on Hutchinson island. Just say NO! And maybe they’ll do some much needed upkeep. Gross gross gross

Horrible experience! They advertise renting one unit and when you get there the unit is of MUCH lesser quality. There were roaches and broken drawers and ripped linoleum. The staff is rude and unresponsive. Others I spoke with had horrible experiences as well. Beware!!!.

Beware!!!! I’ve waited to write this pondering if I should, And if you book through Airbnb the “Host” changes to/from different hosts. My stay went from Tina to Tom. I assumed someone was renting their private bungalow, not a business & part of a resort, but that wasn’t the issue. I messaged Tina, and never received a response. It was nothing major, but a reply would’ve been appreciated. Tom must need some happiness in his life or a vacation himself! He walked by daily for a week and never once said good morning, evening or even smiled. I’m not the one who wrote a bad review, however, I should have!! I don’t want to share details, but I left the place as I arrived, clean. I’ve been staying with Airbnb for years and have all excellent reviews, and comments, but Tom tried to tarnish my good name with a bad review, and his is the only one. It won’t affect my rental capabilities, but he must’ve gotten some satisfaction by doing so. I’ve read other guests poor reviews, and believe them, and some were specifically about Tom. Based on my experience, this is not an honest business. I’m not upset about the few towels, I brought my own. The best thing is that I had the best week I’ve had in a long time, I didn’t let him ruin my experience after such a wonderful, joyous , incredible week in Jensen Beach!!! I’m only being truthful, and hope to save someone else from possible excess charges or getting kicked out like the other folks have experienced.…

We stayed in one of the cottages that had two tv's, but only one worked. No cleaning of room every day, no towel replenishment, not even an extra roll of toilet paper. After several texts to them, we got no response. When I finally caught up with the manager on site, he said there was a bag in the closet with a note explaining that we were to leave our dirty laundry outside every day. Like we were supposed to be mind-readers and know to look in the closet. I scoured the place looking for that bag and note, finding nothing. You pay that much to stay there and get TERRIBLE SERVICE and amenities!

I received a text message from “Caribbean Shores Motel” on Friday afternoon October 8, 2021 that indicated room 13 was unlocked and the key was on the table. I then entered “Caribbean Shores Motel" into Google Maps and followed the directions. We arrived, saw the pool shown on the Hotels.com reservation, and found room 13. After dinner and some TV, we were asleep then someone pounded on the door saying that we were in his room. It turns out that we were in the wrong room 13 and that our room 13 was a mile up the road at a location with no sign and just a street number on the mailbox. A few thoughts about these two properties under one owner: 1) Staff the office with normal check-in procedures. 2) Don’t claim that the property has a pool and don’t show a photo of a pool that is not on the property on motel reservation websites. Make it clear that the pool is a mile down the road. 3) Put a sign at the property and don’t make excuses for not having a sign. 4) Use different room numbers at each location so that no mix-ups could occur. 5) Don’t ever suggest that credit card information be texted to a motel manager. 6) If none of these suggestions create a change, and it happens again, don’t charge the extra fee for an honest mistake.…

This property is a scam. Be aware. The staff relies on text messaging to assign rooms. You walk into the assigned room where your key is sitting on the desk...simple? Except when they send the same message to a separate party, who arrives at midnight...and want to know why you are in their room...remember this is Florida..stand-your-ground country. This was terrifying. The manager did intervene after an hour of attempting to contact him. He informed us, we were sent the wrong text & to stay in the room it would cost an additional $50. Please pause & take this in...we are in a room, we believe to be ours; we are sleeping & the knocks to the door start.. Sound suspicious? This property had 6 cars in the parking lot, it was not near capacity. We did as directed & were penalized. It was a frightening experience, completely avoidable & makes you seriously question their definition of hospitality. Do not let this happen to you. Epic fail …

We are two seniors who stayed in room 11 for 2 months in June and July while house hunting in the area. We were required to give a $1,000 security deposit before check-in. We were told that there is no maid service for monthly renters and that we had to provide our own linen, dishes, silverware, pillows, coffee pot, etc., which we did. A few days before checking out (July 24, 2021) , I e-mailed the Manager, Tom, and requested that he inspect our room before we checked out and to give us our deposit back. He replied that we should just send him our mailing address, which I did (our new location was just down the street from the motel). I made sure I left the place very clean in order to be sure to get our full deposit back. I scrubbed and cleaned everything in the room, wiped the dust off the windowsills, scrubbed the bathroom and even washed the shower curtain in the washing machine before leaving. I was shocked to find out that Tom had deducted $300 from the deposit. I asked him why and he said "for maid service." I said he should have informed me that there was a $300 charge at the time I checked in. He then said that the room was so dirty that they spent 4 hours cleaning it!!! A blatant, disgusting lie! Now I know why he would not check the room before we left. He would have found it to be very clean and would not have been able to rip us off. He knew we would not be future customers as our new place was nearby. A word of warning: have the room checked before you leave if you give them a security deposit so you don't get ripped off too.…

BED BUGS! We (family of 4, daughters age 8 and 11) stayed at Caribbean Shores, booked via Airbnb in mid May, 2021. The place looked completely renovated, so we didn't worry about the potential for bugs. We woke up in the morning with blood on the sheets and covered in bites! Pulling back the sheets, there were bugs crawling all over! We took several close up pictures, but already knew it was bed bugs. We contacted the host, Tom, and he sent his property manager, Shayne, over. Shayne apologized and said he knew about the problem and had attempted to treat the bed bugs with 'bug bombs'. This is a ridiculous attempt at treating bed bugs. It takes much more aggressive treatment. Shayne offered to give us another room to stay in and said we would be refunded our stay. We had to throw away most of our things (luggage, makeup, toiletries, etc) and spend the morning bagging up all of our clothes and washing them. What a nightmare! Once we got home, we contacted Tom about the refund and he insisted that it was just a roach problem, and denied any bed bugs. (Remember Shayne the property manager already admitted to us that they had bed bugs). While he did have a roach problem as well, roaches don't bite people in the middle of the night, leaving blood on the sheets and red welts all over the body! Additionally, we had pictures of the bugs, which I sent to him, that were clearly bed bugs, not roaches. He ended up refunding us $400 of our $530 stay, but he never acknowledged that the place had bed bugs. If you still are inclined to stay at this place after reading this, at least check the sheets and mattress very closely before you get on the bed!…
