What a fabulous resort! First time at an Opal property so no bias either way. Must say the family and I were very impressed. Grounds are impeccable and all staff graciously attentative! Latitudes was fine dining at it's best! One of our worst pet peeves when dining out is dishes served lukewarm or room temp. Not the case here! Our scrumptious and oh so fresh seafood was served piping hot and with a smile (nice work Chris!). Wish I knew our chef's name to tip my hat to that person 🦞! Kudos to JBR! We'll be back! This hotel was perfect. Right on the beach and plenty of sun. Gorgeous sunrise and the water over the shells made a beautiful soothing wind chime sound. Love the beds and slept like a baby on business

Dear emikob18, Thank you for being our guests at the Jupiter Beach Resort. We are so happy that you had the opportunity to experience the sunrise on the beach. The sound of the shells moving over the water is one of our favorites, and we love the way you described it like that of a 'wind chime'. What a perfect description of the sound! It was a pleasure to have you as our guests and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future!

My family has enjoyed the on-site restaurant for years. In particular, we loved the Mother’s Day brunch buffet. The food was delicious, the waitstaff was attentive and the view was unbeatable. The last two years, we had a very different experience. I called repeatedly during normal business hours and was unable to get literally anyone to answer the phone (not just the restaurant-I also called concierge, sales, reservations, etc.). I didn’t see a brunch on the website, but we took a chance, thinking that, of course there’s no way they wouldn’t be doing a Mother’s Day brunch that they have had great success with for years. It was ALWAYS a full house. We drove up and found it has changed to mandatory $5 valet parking. We would always tip more than $5 and we liked knowing that all of it went straight to the person doing the work. I’m afraid that the mandatory fee discourages proper tipping and results in more money for the hotel and less for the people actually doing the work. We went inside and didn’t see the usual brunch buffet so we asked and were informed it was not offered anymore. We all ordered. I’m not a picky eater and the food was fine, but you could definitely tell they are trying to cut corners wherever they can. The waitress was clearly under pressure to get us in and out as quickly as possible. This is NOT her fault, she was very kind. In previous years, my family would always walk down to the water for a few minutes before heading out. Last year, there was an employee sitting at the boardwalk to ensure no one could walk down there unless they were staying at the hotel. While I understand having policies, I guarantee our party easily spent more than the equivalent of a night at the hotel on brunch. My suggestions to Jupiter Beach Resort are the following: make sure your changes aren’t going to put your employees at a disadvantage. Bring back the Mother’s Day brunch buffet. Allow those who dine at your restaurant beach access. And lastly-before implementing changes, please consider if they are a good long-term strategy for repeat customers or if they are simply causing longtime customers to not want to return. We will not return unless the changes above are implemented, but thank you for being such a special gem for so many years for my family.

This resort is now an Opal property and has been upgraded in many ways. We have come here for about 18 years, and the improvements are great. The staff is first class. Daffnee and Richard esp. We will keep going back from New Port Richey. Thank-you to all who served us.

Room Tip: The only negative was valet parking - it’s just a pain, but understand why when they are busy.

👱🏻‍♂️Reid the waiter: very friendly and attentive to us! Loved his recommendation on the wine! Even took off the cost of the dessert for the special birthday celebration! 🌊 Manny, Jonathan and Riley: loved the beach set up, chairs, umbrellas and towels so you don’t have to worry about a thing! The beach staff was available for any food or drink orders too! 🤵🏼‍♂️ Matthew: great restaurant manager and convinced us to make a resi for our 2nd night here- the food was too good to pass up! 🧑‍🍳: never met the chef but amazing menu, overwhelmed what to order but we had the Alaskan king crab, the crab cake, the grouper with breaded crab, and the stuffed shrimp- all delicious! 🍹🥃: Kathy, Nick, & Mikey: the friendliest bartenders who will make you any drink you want!

The Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa Hotel is an old hotel that has been completely renovated. And they did very well. With privileged attention and comfortable, quiet and well-presented rooms. It is within walking distance of the beach, however, they charge a resort fee even if you don't use it, and it's high. The pool is right in front of the beach, the place is beautiful. We Highly recommended it.

The staff at JBR is awesome. Ashley, Kathie, Faryn, Mia, Beth, Andrew, everyone at the Sand Bar and absolutely everyone we had contact with. After three very difficult years in our lives, this was a much needed vacation. It could not have been better. Thank you all for giving us a remarkable and memorable vacation. We will be back. PS The food is amazing.

Awesome resort with outstanding service! We've been to many resorts, and this one is at the top of our list. From the first day, the staff learned our names and what we like. After that we barely had to order things like drinks, the staff knew what we wanted. Excellent!

If you enjoy the beach than this hotel is a very good choice since there aren't many 4-star hotels along the coast in Palm Beach County. The newly renovated rooms/bathrooms are lovely. Shower & bed were amazing. Having a door to an adjoining room, not so much. Hard to sleep when it sounds like people are in your room. Having a Nespresso machine is not the most practical since most of us just want regular coffee or tea. The resort itself is lovely however the pool area was small, dismal & lacked that resort feel. It is a valet only facility ($25 per night plus tips on top of the resort fee) which is inconvenient since there isn't much to do at the hotel, it's an ordeal to get your car every time you want to leave. The outdoor restaurant made for a very pleasant lunch. The staff is excellent & every employee was very friendly.

We are a couple who love our beach vacations. We loved this property. It just went under a multimillion dollar renovation. Everything is sparkling and new. No hassle whatsoever to get your loungers and umbrellas. Whatever time you show up you’ll be met with a smile and they will set you up. This is worth everything to us. We want the beach. The pool area is nice, a little on the small side. If you are strictly pool people and don’t do beach, it might not be as glamorous as you like. There is a huge outdoor bar area with loungers overlooking the ocean which is perfect if you want the view and like to drink. There is also Beach service right to your loungers. Front desk staff and valet parking staff all very friendly and helpful. We ate a few meals at the brand new Latitudes Restaurant. Gorgeous venue. Food was very good. Service needs more training. No management to be seen at the Restaurant. When we visited, it was at full capacity but never felt crowded. We will definitely return.
