Small quaint cottages with the biggest fleet of Catalina 22's in the US. You can learn to sail here. You can hire a captain. This is on the bay side of the keys. So you don't have to worry about the reefs. We didn't actually stay in the modest cottages. But we did hire a captain for a wonderful day...

This place is a hidden gem in the Florida Keys. It is small and feels isolated, even though you are across the street (200 feet or so) from CVS, banks, restaurants, bars and everything else Key Largo has to offer. The rooms are unique in a great way. Each has its own character and vibe. All are beachy/fish camp funky....

My experience was amazing! We did a sunset cruise on the huge catamaran. Paul is one hell of a sailor. Our LARGE cottage was eclectic, interesting, and full of eye catching artifacts and texture. Our doors opened us up to a huge patio and the Gulf is literally 20 steps from the door. Paul lends out all of his kayaks,...

I had a blast and loved my time here, but probably wouldn't go back. From the moment we arrived, it was a comedy of errors. The entire reason we booked these cottages were because of the sailing opportunities. My in laws talked several times to the staff prior to booking, yet once we arrived, nothing was as expected starting with...

The units are large enough and it is great having kitchen space to make meals and save on restaurant costs (but there are some great places to eat nearby). The units are kept clean. Decor is unique, gives a flavor of the Keys. The sailing grounds are wonderful and well suited to the Catalina 22's. We went out each day...

Our second visit, this time just my son and I … as last time , we had a wonderful relaxing stay - hope to bring more of the family next time . We stayed at the captained cottage , and made full use of the water toys, one of our favourite days out was to sail our little Catalina around...

My husband and I stayed 3 days at KLSC in late September. We had such a great time. Let me start by clarifying, this is not a 5 star resort. The cottages are fully equipped with anything that you might want or need, but it is by no means a fancy place. It almost feels like staying with family. The...

You know those vacations you have a really hard time seeing come to an end? This was the HARDEST to see end. My family stayed in the Main House which had a very pirate, antique Caribbean motif. Very nice with an open lodge feel. Our boat was the Sarah Jean which we very much enjoyed. The whole staff was absolutely...

This is the only place I know of where you can sail at your own leisure while you are a guest. Excellent concept, friendly staff, very generous with their equipment. The paddle boards were a big hit with everyone!

The owners and staff are amazing. Everything is clean and in great condition. We loved sailing on the Baby Girl and staying in the Keys Cottage. Met interesting people from all over. Excellent food within walking distance. Beautiful clear water, loved the sunset cruise, enjoyed using all the kayaks, paddleboards, etc. Will definitely return!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Key Lime Sailing Club and Cottages is located on the Bay side of Key Largo. What makes us unique is our cottage rentals come with a free designated 22' sailboat that you can use for your whole stay, also included is the free use of kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, dinghies, snorkel gear, fishing gear and bicycles. Sail to the Nest Key island and experience the mud bath on the beach, or sail towing your kayak, then kayak through the mangrove jungle into the hidden lake where you will see manatees. Plus we do Sunset Cruises on a 40' Catamaran for our guests once or twice a week at no extra cost! Rates starts as low as $175 a night on our low season, each of our uniquely decorated and themed cottages comes in different sizes with king or queen size bed as well as bunk beds, and a duplex which can be converted to 1 big cottage that can sleep up to maximum of 13 people. Please Note: We try to limit each cottage to 2 adults per cottage so if you have larger group, please book early so we can make appropriate accommodations, as we like to keep our place quaint and casual for all to enjoy, we have a total of 9 cozy cottages spread out over 1 1/2 acres of land and a back yard equaling 100's of square miles of islands and waterways to explore. ... more   less
