I truly love Marquesa Hotel. The location is perfect, the room was great and the service impecable. The only inconvenience was the awful internet connection. I had troubles with it. The rest, very recomendable.
This Hotel is definitely a Five Star choice. The staff, the service, the location, and the beautifully appointed rooms and suites. Luxury baths, comfortable king size beds, tasteful decorating with use of warm woods. Also, one cannot help but be impressed with the lush landscaping....More
The Marquesa Hotel has it all - location (just a block off Duval street in Old Town), charm, comfort, and a staff that provides outstanding service! Combining Old World charm with modern conveniences and amenities, our room was spacious and comfortable. And the grounds were...More

Yes, there are two. The nicest is Fort Zachary Taylor State Park. It is about a 15-minute walk from the hotel and has chaise lounges for rent, nice shade trees and a concession stand. There is another much smaller one, located at the Gulf of Mexico and the end of Simonton Street, that is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. It has a limited service concession stand also. Hope this helps!
