Welcome was nice and friendly. Rooms were clean. No welcome water on arrival but clean sheets which I like. Bathroom is well equipped but without shower cap which means it gets a lower mark, same point with provision for tea and coffee !! Too few provisions and bear in mind the

This place needs a pool area attendant and enough lounge chairs for guests. Every afternoon there were not enough lounge chairs for guests because they let the locals in to drink and use the pool. There is a $40 "resort fee" (+$5.00 tax). I'm not sure what this money is for.

Our stay at the marker was very relaxing. The rooms were nice size. Bathrooms ample and our patio was enjoyed. The staff was exceptional. Attentive and very friendly. Only thing that I think would add to the week would have been water yoga more than one morning a week

Is there free transport from/to airport?
No. Only hotels on the airport side of the island offer free transportation. The Lyft/Uber ride is about 15 bucks w/o tip and takes about 15 minutes. It's quicker and cheaper than the taxi that pools riders and makes stops at their hotels. Given the high prices KW resorts charge for parking, fact that one can walk to most places on the island, the free Duval loop bus, etc..I highly recommend ubering and staying at nearer to the action (and the Marker is awesome! Hope you get to meet Lee the front desk! She's the best!)

Are the pools and restaurants open to non residents.
There appeared to be locals eating at the pool who were interacting with the staff, so I would say so.
