I was originally looking for a place to stay over New Year's eve/day that could accommodate 3 adults and 1 child in a room. I found this place because it was the only hotel left in the Key Largo area that was still affordable. We stayed here 3 nights in December/January 2016 and were very happy with our accommodations. While...

Stayed for two nights in the ground level room closest to the highway. Needless to say, it was extremely noisy and difficult to get a good night's sleep with the constant sound of cars and trucks whizzing by at all hours. The room was very outdated and basic. The beds were stiff mattresses on a platform with no box spring....

We were in the Keys for scuba diving, so we were pleasantly surprised by the private beach area with easy access to the shallow sands for snorkeling. Lobsters, schools of parrot fish, horse conch shells, upside down jellyfish, etc. Gas grills, cabanas, hammocks and chairs made for wonderful memories watching the sunsets. Our room was reasonably priced and cleaned daily....

My wife and I stopped at the Marker 88 in the Keys thinking there was going to be a nice public beach to relax on. The beach was pretty and small but it belong to the Marker 88 restaurant and really wasn't for sunbathing. While we were there we noticed a real neat place next door to the restaurant. It...

We reserved a block of rooms at the Lookout Lodge for our wedding weekend and rented their beach property for our Welcome Party on Friday evening. (We had the actual wedding and reception next door at Marker 88 Restaurant on Saturday.) The Lookout Lodge was PERFECT! Leading up to the big weekend, I must have called Greg a dozen times,...

Like most things in the Keys, the lodging is mostly small private mom and pop type of places. Rarely will you see a name brand. Lookout Lodge was as expected. Is it the Four Seasons? No. Is it the Ritz Carlton? No. But it is cozy, clean, and a room over your head for a reasonable rate. They have a...

Our studio was immaculate when we arrived. This was our second stay at Lookout Lodge. We spent one night and enjoyed it so much, came back to stay on our way back from Key West. The folks working check-in and out were very friendly and helpful. Islamorada is a beautiful place and Lookout Lodge is the spot to stay.

The hotel room was dirty and moldy. We had no recourse to fix the problem. Payment is made up front and there was no way to receive a refund for unsatisfactory conditions. I hope that they take the time to clean the room.

I would highly advise you not to stay here. Look a n y w h e r e else- change the Florida Key you are staying in if you need to. They're all nice. I booked a suite at this quaint hotel to my husband's dismay for our family of four kids and my mom. Everything went well during our...
