One of the few places in Islamorada that accepts pets. It was a great find. Great place to stay if you are staying more than 1 night. You have a small kitchen and a livingroom. The owners are very nice and keep the place very clean. My only complaint is the mattress pads on the bed. They are plastic backed...

My husband and I loved this little place! It's small, which is nice because there aren't too many other guests. I think have like 18 rooms total? Very relaxing property and gives you a homey feel. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The birds they have up by the main house are cool, too. My favorite part is that...

Spent a fun weekend here with my cousin. The resort is made up of vintage, but very well maintained cottage-like suites. The grounds are very well groomed, and there is plenty of docking and seating by the water. Besides the views and the location, the best part of the Sands are the owners! They are warm and welcoming, and are...

We (2 adults 1teen 2 kids) only stayed one night but loved this little place! We stayed in room 11, which is closest to the office and road so no view but who cares, it's a short lovely stroll to the water. Room 11 is a nice size with 2 full beds, and a couch, table, refrigerator in seperate sitting...

We found this small inn by accident and were astonished at the lovely setting. We stayed in unit 19 which is an upper level ocean view room - one of only nine units and only two with direct ocean views. It had an enclosed wraparound deck with a hammock and table/chairs to watch the sunset and sunrise. The bathroom was...

This hotel is perfect for fishermen with boats. Also it is pet friendly place. So keep these two things in mind. The nearest beach is within 40 miles from the hotel. Our room had two queen size beds cramped in next to each other in a small space within about two feet between them. There is no kitchen sink and...

Yani and her husband made this an amazing adventure for our first trip to the Keys. Wonderful view, fantastic sunrises, great hot tub and pool, quaint, fun and beautiful rooms...Best memories to bring home with us. Thank you. We still rave about our time at the Sands. Incredible palm trees made sunrises magical from our bedroom and balcony. We still...

The couple running the resort is absolutely lovely and go out of their way to make you comfortable. They even took items out of their home for our use while we were there. The studio apartment we rented was very comfortable and large enough for 5 of us and our dog! Cooked most meals there for 3 days with no...

An awesome, intimate escape right in the center of the Keys. All of our rooms have recently been refreshed from top to bottom. For a pet & people friendly tropical retreat...This is the spot. This is the kind of place Jimmy Buffett sings about. We are very Keysee and very clean! A sparkling pool and hot-tub with a view of the beach, boat launch and pier, await you. Our rooms and efficiencies can accomodate from 1 to 6 people very comfortably. ... more   less
