For the price, it is a hidden gem in the keys. Near to everything, clean, safe. The owners are very nice and amenable. We will stay again when we go back to Islamorada. The only thing is they do not allow pets. Having tile floors, it could be a good marketing tool if they allowed pets, at least, the caged...

We have stayed here several times and will go back. It is one of the most affordable and cleanest places to stay in the Keys. Maid service has always good too. It doesn't have a water view but the Lorelei is just around the corner, a great bar and restaurant, a wonderful place for the sunset. Go eat and drink...

It is not difficult to pay big dollars on accommodations in the Florida Keys. This motel is one of the least expensive options you can find. I was expecting more, but when I got down there and seen other more expensive accommodations I realized that it was a bargain down there. We payed $106 dollars a night (tax in) because...

Stayed here for 6 nights. Blue Fin side. Wasn't expecting a full service setup and therefore didn't set myself up for disappointment. The room interiors were pretty clean enough, though being on the road some extra work needs to be done on ensuring dust doesn't settle on the seats outside. Proximity to some nice spots in Islamorada was also a...

My wife and I happened across this motel on our journey down to Key West. The lady who owns the place was very friendly and gave us a huge room with two double beds, a cooker and a massive fridge. Although a little dated, the place was clean and functional and very good value ($60 for the night). The motel...

Another stay at the Key Lantern. This time was placed at the Blue Fin and it seems to be a little more threadbare than the Key Lantern, but still great for the price. Maid service is very good and you're within stumbling distance to the Lorelei. If you're just looking for a clean, convenient place to relax in the keys,...

Very basic, but clean and comfortable. Old-fashioned feel. Very close to the Lorelei cabana bar and restaurant. My advice: spend the day in Key West and stay here afterward, getting a late dinner and drinks at the Lorelei. We stayed in August, so the price was a very low $45, but I'm sure it's also a great deal in season...

True bargain in the Keys and a fantastic location. We stayed at the Blue Fin Inn side of the hotel. Within walking, or short driving, distance of all our favorite places. Cleaning staff needs to be trained!! Just outside our door there were two hair ties, a dirty cup and cigarettes. Opened the door to see trash on the floor,...

Four days here were nice! Read prior reviews saying that motel looked "very 1970s", which was very true, but dated decor was forgotten given price and room amenities. Kitchenette room was spacious, clean, and comfy. Kitchen area very nice: full fridge/freezer, microwave, range and stove, etc. The price was ridiculously lower than other places in the area, initially making us...

A weeks' stay and absolutely nothing to complain about. Clean, comfortable rooms, big kitchen and relatively large bath. Nothing fancy at all, but a great bargain and the nicest two owners you could possibly meet. I stayed in the Blue Fin side, so can't comment on the rooms on the Key Lantern side (assume they are different?). Room was cleaned...
