This is a lovely property which is quiet and seems far away from the bustle of Highway One even though it is only a short block off the main road. All rooms are suites which are spread out over several buildings. Upon arrival we were told that our reservation was not on their system, which was concerning, but luckily a room was available but not the one we reserved in August! The room we were given was in the first floor of the main building and had a terrace and outdoor shower. It was lovely to walk out to the garden and only a short stroll to the private beach. We took an amazing sunset sail and enjoyed the included yoga class on Wednesday. The rooms are not fancy but very comfortable and clean. The draw here is the privacy and the gorgeous private island with pool and lounges overlooking the crystal clear water. There was wine and beer available at the pool but no food. Management should consider adding a few prepackaged snack items for purchase. However it was a short walk to Mangrove Mikes for brunch or lunch. The included continental breakfast on a terrace near the beach area was adequate but nothing special. Overall we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay and we will consider returning

I can't say enough good things about this property. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. All the staff were helpful and friendly. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend. We didn't get to take advantage of all of amenities-bicycles, kayaks, yoga classes, beer tasting but that means we have to go back when we have more time. Can't wait!

The rooms are very comfortable and the views of the gardens and bay are terrific. There are lots of amenities from boats, bikes to games. It is a lovely place to relax and well located for dining and going boating or fishing on either side of the key.

Terrible experience - especially for the price. Our flight was delayed, so we got to the hotel at 8:30pm. Everything was dark - we couldn’t locate reception, so after wandering around the property we located a service door and started banging on it. Finally someone arrived - they said the office closed at 8pm, and that someone should have called us and left a message regarding the keys. They hadn’t. Our room - The Jungle Room - left much to be desired. The bathroom faucet was broken and remained cold after 20 minutes of running it. We couldn’t use the tub as it was stained brown on the bottom. The screen above the toilet was filthy and disgusting. We’d been told the rate included complimentary breakfast - we arrived at the stated breakfast location at 7:40am and everything had been shut down - apparently it’s served promptly at 7am, which the gal didn’t tell us the night before. Awful hotel experience - DO NOT BOOK HERE!

LOVED this mini resort. Quiet, nicely located, beautifully appointed. Easy to book, they allowed our dog. Happy hour and lunch offered on the island. It was too windy and cold in Feb to enjoy the non-heated pool or the island. Liked that they offered yoga.

We enjoyed our stay so much. The hotel has very high standards reflected in the service, cleanliness, and beautiful, well equipped, and spacious suite. Breakfast was continental and everything you could need and more. We enjoyed using hire bikes. We also enjoyed Laurielee restaurant nearby. Thanks to all for a brilliant stay.

Lovely place and good location so we could walk to restaurants. The small island with the pool and bar are very special. However the rooms, whilst spacious and clean, are looking tired and need updating. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is ok but limited.

Wonderful hotel with lovely amenities and a very relaxing pool on the bay. Surprised my girlfriend with the ‘Love You Baby’ package which was so special and executed with care. Rooms were more spacious than expected with lots of privacy and very cute cats on the property.

Excellent boutique resort. The only negative that I can say is that the bar was not staffed and open. This is a lovely location with several options for dining in the area. The staff is top notch. A great place to stay for couples wanted a relaxing vacation.

What a lovely, private place! I especially loved sitting outside rooftop of my gorgeously decorated and comfortable Jungle room looking out into the beautiful gardens. The cabana near the quiet waterfront bar was so peaceful, lying back reading and chatting with my companion. I loved the water view area up high for our free continental breakfast of delicious warm cinnamon rolls, chocolate croissants, hard-cooked eggs, fresh fruit and yogurt, etc with perfect coffee. It was really fun taking a ride on grab-and-go bicycles, very smooth and easy, to nearby eateries and a distillery. We also took a kayak paddle along the shoreline, fantastic even with the light wind. I only wish the pool heater had been fixed. The staff was superb!
