Took an afternoon tarpon trip with my Da and 2 sons 11 and 13 years old. Mike had it dialed in. We were running out of bait and he called the bait guy who delivered live mullet within about 20 minutes. We jumped 4 Tarpon and then my 13 year old finally brought one to the boat at the end....

If I am going to fish in the middle keys, this is one of the best places to stay. Reasonable prices, nice clean rooms, walk to the boat, and if you fish, you are in the center of the action. As noted in my previous reviews, the B N' M has a great casual coffee shop for breakfast that won't...

After stopping in at Bud and Mary's and watching the boats come in after a days of fishing , it was exciting to see the catches of the day. This marina is blessed with the best captains on the East coast of Florida. If you want a true fishing experience, go to Bud and Mary's; You will be overwhelmed.

Had the Lucky Lady houseboat for three nights, what an incredible stay. Houseboat was tidy and adequate, but the location really makes it special. You get the best of both worlds, look past the dock and see the harbor and all its fishing glory. Look off the back and you have open ocean as far as you can see. We...

Did a two day trip to Islamorada the end of April. Friday afternoon on Hey Papa, with Captain Josh. Sensational day of fishing. Caught and released 15 large groupers, red, black and gag. (The season started Monday) Add to that a bunch of Yellowtail and a Huge Mutton Snapper. It was a very successful afternoon. The Capt and the mate...

How cool is it to wake up, walk ten feet and get on your boat? I've been staying in the 'hotel rooms' for years and won't be changing anything in the future. The owners have upgraded the rooms with nice touches and they are extremely clean. I also love to watch all the Boats come in after our days of...

We went on the 7 hour all day trip last Thur and were sorely disappointed in the service, fishing and overall experience. Were told could rotate to the stern for better fishing but a group of six or so totally monopolized that area and the Captain catered to their every desire including trolling while all the other paying guests sat...

What a relaxing weekend. Bud N' Mary's Marina was the idea location. The staff were accommodating and friendly. The houseboat was clean and comfortable with maid service. A perfect place to stay-especially if you are on a charter boat or a dive tour. We were able to watch sharks swim around the houseboat as well as the tarpon and a...
