This motel is pretty old and need some updates. The outside is pretty it's close everything but the thing that creeps me out was they had a sign in each room that said you had to wash your own dishes or they would fee you but in our room they didn't have a kitchen sink to wash dishes so I...

Enjoyed our stay very much at this quaint little hideaway. Small quiet clean place to stay right on the bay. It's older but with lots of charm and very clean. We had the use of kayaks, paddleboards, bikes and fishing equipment. Never used the bikes because it was too hot or the fishing equipment because we brought our own. The...

Great old school motel with just the right amenities. Love to come here to escape for a few days. Private dock and swim area with amazing fish and fun for all. Hammock, BBQ area, sandy beach and even shuffleboard. Free use of kayaks and bikes. Close to all things Islamorada!

On the way down to Key West for Lobsterfest, my husband and I stayed at LaJolla for a return visit. Once again, loved everything Old Florida about it. Such an adorable place with a incredible staff. Thank you for having us as your guest and keep up the good work LaJolla, as we will be back!!!!!

I have been staying here for at least 10 years. It really is a slice of old Florida. If you are looking for a real laid back, quite place to stay, this is it. Boat docks, cleaning table, brick BBQ grill, hammocks, chairs on the bay, shuffleboard, tiki hut, kayaks and pool. Nice staff, clean rooms. If you are looking...

Our family has been staying at La Jolla Resort every year for more than 10 years. We absolutely love it there. It is a small slice of old Florida in the beautiful Florida Keys. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to make sure their guests are comfortable and taken care of. The grounds are well kept...

Arrived to a very clean room that was bigger than expected. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Loved the free bikes and games that were available out by the docks. The boat ramp is a bit tricky for a 20' boat, but there is a free and easier ramp just down the street. good/safe on-site trailer storage and easy car...

This resort is in the heart of Islamorada. We were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go. The staff was very friendly and our children had a wonderful time. If you want the quintessential Florida Keys vacation, this is where you need to stay. We also had a great fishing experience with the local guide they suggested to...

It was great to have access to kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel gear, and bikes! It was a great location - you can walk to a brewery and ice cream place. Or bike to the Hurricane Monument. Small pool but kids had fun! We would stay again.

This is not a Hilton! Units are a dated. Once you get that out of the way, and accept that you are here because of the amenities, view and location this place ia awesome. The rooms have lots of window for view of gulf. The staff is very friendly and will lend you a fishing rod, kayak, stand up paddle...
