When you visit Islamorada, keep the Cheeca in mind. The food is great, location is perfect, the staff is friendly and it has such a nice, high end (but laid back) vibe. There is also so much to do both on sight and close by.

We had booked a laguna view room for our 7 night stay, and were quite happy with our room, but were told that our room was due to be refurbished. So for our last three nights we were upgraded to a sea view lodge room. All the facilities on site really made our stay a great time, with lots to...

My wife and I stayed at the Cheeca Lodge on the back end of our honeymoon and to say we loved it is an understatement. We used to stay at Hawks Cay in Marathon when we came to the Keys and wanted to switch it up this time. We stayed in one of the Beach Bungalows and it was one...

We stayed 2 nights at Cheeca Lodge while we were in Islamorada for a dive trip. The resort is absolutely lovely in every way. The staff from check in to check out went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. We stayed in a beach bungalow and the room had amazing views. There was a nice...

I had read some reviews and was anticipating an up and down experience. We had dinner at the Captains table, "superb" 3 days of tiki hut drinking after fishing, "very relaxing" tiki huts are my favorite anyway but the service was good, and the drinks just the way I like them. The room was comfortable, clean, and we never saw...

While the check-in process is a bit slow (slower than any other home I've ever stayed at), the rooms and facilities are beautiful and the staff is friendly. The resort is very relaxing yet there is plenty to do. There are many activities right on the resort grounds that are included with hotel price - which, by the way is...

My husband and I just returned from Cheeca Lodge, celebrating my 60th birthday. Let me start by saying I've read reviews that suggested the customer service was sub par. So with eyes wide open we booked for 3 nights. The resort was wonderful, food was great and our ocean front suite was perfect. And I am happy to report that...
