The Lady Lake Guest House is for travelers who value a shared experience in a simple, friendly, down-home-style environment. We encourage our guests to think of the LLGH as their "home away from home." Yes, we are perhaps as quirky as we are plain, but our guests do seem to enjoy the lack of pretense. It's not unusual to see guests having their breakfast alfresco, donning only their bathrobes or someone having a private massage on the sundeck.
It seems as if there are nothing but chains in this community. It seems every cookie-cutter national chain can be found here. The Villages is the largest retirement center in the USA, but we prefer quirky, different establishments and we had to really search to find this little gem. The Lady lake Guesthouse is an independent B&B style property with all of the warmth, charm and amenities you would hope for in a small property. It was safe, clean, comfortable and most of all amazingly affordable. Some inns and B&B's can be as expensive as 4 and 5 star hotels, but not this place. They do a breakfast and a wine and cheese hour on the sundeck I think you'd like. Some rooms have shared baths, we went for a room with a private bath and set us back something in the $40 range. Best of all, if you are staying in the area it is probably to be close to The Villages. Well the Villages is across the street. The Spanish Springs Town Square, with all the free live entertainment and restaurants is just five minutes away. In fact, the Guesthouse is probably closer to all of the Town Square happenings than approx. 75% of the Villages itself, so location wise, it's a winner. Consider it, you might like it.…
