All employees were kind and courteous. One employee, perhaps a manager, Bethany, went above and beyond to help us as well as a handicapped lady with various issues not even related to the hotel itself. We loved our balcony, lots of space in our room that had a fridge and microwave. Comfy bed and big screen tv. Although the breakfast area was small, the array of food was very good. Coffee/tea available there 24/7. And refreshing lemon ice water in check-in area. Pool with hotel is small, but since Holiday Inn is in front of us and has same owners, I swam there every day-clean and perfect temp! Chili’s Restaurant is right across the street.

Property's Favourite Review
I had a layover in the villages and i saw that the Hacienda is now a SureStay Plus by Best Western....I remember the old hacienda so writing a review here. But what i can tell you is the renovations to that hotel to make it to a Surestay Plus are absolutely mind boggling...Night and Day compared to the old hotel...Looks brand new! The staff are super super nice, everything in the rooms is brand new...great pool and definitely a return stay for me next time in the Villages. I highly recommend it!!

Very easy walk to Spanish Springs Square with shops and restaurants. Friendly staff. Good and plentiful breakfast included with room fee. We would definitely stay here again. We were able to park our golf cart right outside our room.

It was first country inn then jamani and now sure stay. Breakfast good but limited room OK but AC/heater made noise. You have to take your dirty towels to the front desk for new ones or the need for more toiletries including toilet paper bus shuttle is a nightmare get to Hollywood Studios you need to take 3 busses and the return time leaves you little time to play arrives at hotel at 9:30 goes to Epcot you get a all star bus to one of the resorts then get a bus from there to Hollywood Studios to return you have to get a bus back to Epcot before 6 because that's when the bus back to the hotel arrives so you have from about noon to 5 to play and park doesn't close until 10 you miss the fireworks. The hotel pool was dirty and unheated no working hot tub. The washer and dryer are coin operated only 3 dollars each. and if going to galaxy's edge make reservations months in advance as they are booked up droid building, lightsabors, oga's cantinna. Everything is pricey and drink carts or places to eat are few and far between no free drink refill cups like universal studios either. If you have allergies check ahead of planning on getting blue or green milk it is an acquired taste some like it some don't ride lines can take 2 hours or more to get in and sometimes they break down and cancel even after waiting I do recommend the star tours ride it has 10 different simulator rides it was alot of fun. I do not recommend the ronto wraps 15.00 for a gas station hot dog with a few pieces of turkey and sourkraught. The paint shop is a good place to eat the chicken strips are great and if you bought a thermal detonator Coke bottle use your drink cup from your meal to refill it. They have self service drink fountains. There is more hype than actuality Was not impressed my sons and I left thinking they could have done so much better. Went at Christmas and they only had 6 ornaments no trees no decorations but my son who is 24 is a die hard fan so I'm sure we will need to return because we didn't get reservations for some things plan months in advance and get a band so you don't have to keep getting out your ticket or phone with your ticket it makes things go faster

We are full-time RVers and had to be out of our motorhome for the night for repairs. We'd never had to take our cat to a hotel and weren't sure how well it would go. We got a room on the ground level and there was a note right on the front door that said to be careful because there was a pet inside. We appreciated that so much. The man at the front desk was friendly and helpful. We had a pizza delivered but I wouldn't get one Hungry Howies again. It wasn't very good. We enjoyed the free breakfast. There were plenty of breakfast goodies to choose from including small cheese omelets and sausages. The hotel is beautiful and clean. In very close proximity hotel rooms were going for $60.00 more a night. If you're staying in Wildwood this is the place to stay. A big thank you to the great staff. They were all helpful and gracious.

Elite member. Check-in desk is not well marked and is a bit hard to find. Hotel is approx 12-30 feet from Holiday Inn (awkward). Your view is of their pool. Upon check in staff said this location was just rennovated including new mattresses. First appearance was no obvious major issues of cleanliness or pests. Some debris, but not too bad. Pillows were terrible. Tiny, tiny flies gathered and died in the shower, which I noticed in the morning. Lots of maintenance (noise) still going on that they didn't mention. Ignored do not disturb sign on morning two. Blowing or vacuuming of some sort at approx. 7:15 am one of the days. Ignored do not disturb sign again on subsequent day...three times they POUNDED on my door between 9:30-10ish. Apparently they can't read. Turns out it isn't an emergency that would warrant the intrusion. They want to get in and renovate the curtain (and rods). No notice provided. The guy no sooner leaves then the phone rings. Female manager of some sort demands they are coming in TODAY, that I canNOT be present, or I can switch rooms - all at the spur of the moment OR THEY ARE CALLING THE POLICE ON ME. WTF?? First, what if the guest was a night shift and you just woke them? Second, what if the guest was on a video call and you just repeatedly interrupted? Third, why would you disturb any guest with a sign up at all for any reason that is not an emergency? Corporate BW said they have no control since each location is independently owned and operated. (Side note: most best westerns I have seen are GROSS). So I call the police to ask if this is legal without any notice. Waiting to hear an answer, but don't think it is. In the event they need to do maintenance they should slip a notice under the door with more than 24 hours notice of when they are coming. Personally, if you have scheduled maintenance then you shouldn't rent the room until it's taken care of. People in the room is intrusive, disruptive, and exposes the guest to germs, theft, and safety issues. Okay, so I hurry and fold up clothes etc, then about an hour later they call again to say they aren't coming in and I don't need to switch rooms. What about the distress and time you just caused? All completely unacceptable, unnecessary, and avoidable. In summary, I do not appreciate the distress and time which disrupted my day...which carried over all day. Absolutely unacceptable how this was handled. No compensation provided for the distress and loss of time caused. Do better, Best Western.
