Location was great, right off of 27. Check in was slow. I waited about 20 minutes for the guest in front of me. My turn was quick and painless. Hotel is clean, well kept up for a business built in 2004. Room was clean, comfortable. Bathroom door needs replacement in room 220, water damage. Breakfast was ok. Area was clean.
We stayed for 4 nights while visiting The Villages. First I will do the negative about this hotel. Very bad Wifi. Had to use our data because Wifi kept cutting out. We had a nice room with comfortable bed and sofa and chair. Room was clean and the hotel was quiet. Breakfast was very good and the employee taking care of the breakfast area was excellent.
Was supposed to stay for two nights in October but Hurricane Ian arrived before me and i was not able to. My airline, rental car, and other hotel refunded me due to this natural disaster, but not this hotel. So if you're thinking of staying here, choose another hotel with ethical standards.
Save yourself the aggrevation and the disrespectful lack of customer service you are going to encounter with the "barbie want to be lady" that has an attitude from hell!! As a loyal titanium elite status Marriott member, accused of "ruining bed sheets", being overcharged for a substandard, dirty, stained/raveling carpet, black mold on shower ceiling, leaking faucets, murky pool water, over flowing trash cans....etc. Rules with intimidation if staff is what you will encounter from the RUDE, UNDESIRABLE AND OVERRATED BLONDE DRAGON of a lady is nuts!!! Housekeeping has mentioned that she is a relative and a few maintenance personal stayed that she is in over her head to be working at the hotel. Awful stories about the treatment the team encounters on a daily basis from her lack of customer service and teamwork. Awful, save the money you work hard for, the only thing that matters is to collect your money 🤑💰 Shameful....sad and disappointed…
Unimpressive in most every way. The front desk staff can't be bothered to even nod hello. Lots of issues with getting the room cleaned and made up. The management refused to make up/clean our room every day, citing staffing issues and covid. We have stayed in 7 hotels since last summer and this was the only one that took such a stance. We overheard maids complaining that the hotel was not letting them even clean rooms for newly checking in guests. When my wife questioned the policy, she was rudely asked if she watches the news. My wife then heard front desk personnel complaining to a maid about our request to have the room made up daily. The front desk person in question was overheard saying, "they are only staying for a week and they need their room cleaned"? The front desk/management finally agreed to make our room up daily but then later refused to keep its promise, and the room was cleaned for about 3 or 4 of the 7 nights we stayed. That aside our room had bad paint, dirty looking rugs, and loud plumbing. Nor was the place quiet at night. It was a common occurrence for guests to converse loudly and smoke in the parking lot in the wee hours of the AM. My kids complained the pool was dirty and had dead bugs throughout and refused to use it after the first time. Room keys failed repeatedly and the elevator malfunctioned and trapped my daughter at one point. That said, it wasn't all bad. Breakfast was pretty good, our room was bug free, there is a beautiful Church next door, and the staff other than the front desk was polite and hard working. So I rate it solidly mediocre. Would be a lot better with better customer service and some elbow grease.…
Nice hotel with friendly employees. Good breakfast in the morning. Like the noon check out. The hotel is convenient to shopping and restaurants. If you're visiting friends or family that live in the area this hotel is a good choice at this price point. Rooms are furnished with fridge and microwave.
The room was just ok 👌. I wouldn't want to live there. Tub leaked a little. Air conditioner was a little musty but it either got better or I got used to it. I wish housekeeping had of left the other sock to the mate of the one I found under the luggage bench. Oh, well it was a average port in the storm.
We chose this Comfort Inn to stay in while looking for a home to buy in the area. Our flight from Texas to Florida arrived about 8 hours late, and we landed in Orlando at 1:30 in the morning. We had already called ahead to let them know we'd arrive very late, and they were very courteous. We actually got there at 3:00 after driving in from Orlando. The desk help was friendly and helpful, and we crashed for a short night's sleep. The whole time we were there, the staff was friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfasts were very adequate and healthy. Fellow diners were friendly as well. On our return visit to close on our home in Lady Lake, we stayed there again and with our three puppies. Everything went well; they have nice place to walk your dogs to do their business. The desk staff were very pet friendly and even came out and talked to them and petted them. Nice stay. Oh, also the Chile's restaurant next door is excellent. I high recommend their bar area.…
We checked in tonight. We opened door to room and it smelled musty. Turned heating unit and my eyes started watering and I was sneezing. Opened the unit and was horrified by what saw. Pics below. Took pics to front desk they tried to get maintenance to install a new unit but couldn’t do it. They were sold out so Called Hampton Inn and got a room for $30 less. Moved over to Hampton inn on 63rd Drive. It is wonderful!
