We were evacuated from our resort in Ormond Beach due to Storm Nicole. This was the nearest hotel we could find since we were not notified to evacuate until 7p.m. The night before. Everyone else was notified of the evacuation order much earlier. It is a shame we had to pay over $200 for Friday night the other two nights were at a lower rate. We couldn’t keep the same rate for all three days. Did not thinks that was right but we had nowhere else to go. Had to wait for Saturday to check on the second resort we were booked. Thank God they were open.
Made reservations here after a day of travel and Disney Springs. It seemed a little out of the way for our travel but I did make the reservation. And it kept us out of heavy turnpike and I75 backups. We don’t like the heavy quilts they have on the beds but a great light weight blanket was in the closet. Room was vey clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff was vey nice.
We were greeted warmly. Room was very comfortable and clean. We were only there one night but this is our “go to” hotel when we are in this area. Breakfast was pretty good. They had a variety of hot and cold items.
The room was comfortable and clean. The selection of breakfast foods was excellent. I appreciated the easy check in and check out using the Hilton app. Definitely would stay here again. The hotel is in a great location with local restaurants close by or several chain restaurants (Cracker Barrel, Red Lobster, and Ruby Tuesday) within walking distance.
Personnel at the desk was friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable. The room was quiet and we slept comfortably. The breakfast was still hot when we went at 8:30 and the lady kept everything available and was friendly.
James Aldrich the Manager went above and beyond and went out of his way to make our visit very enjoyable. He spent time speaking with my sister-in-law about Ireland. He accommodated our requests to check in early so we could freshen up before attending a bridal shower and then a late check out as 3 of 4 of us are in our 70’s and needed the extra time. The room was spotless and with two queen beds was roomy. The breakfast was good too! The entire staff was friendly. I recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again.
Hampton Inns are usually very nice. The hotel seemed clean and comfortable with well-trained staff. But my stay in Feb, 2022, was not very pleasant when 1 day after the stay both my partner and I started to experience welts. We saw different doctors and both confirmed that the welts were bites from bedbugs. The bites are very uncomfortable and required treatlent.
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in and I have traveled a lot in my life due to business. Friendly staff and exceptionally quiet. The Manager certainly sets the tone - awesome guy. I wish all hotels were like this one.
Friendly service from the moment you enter. The hotel is consistently clean from the rooms, to the lobby and the exterior landscape. Great breakfast and safe environment. Would definitely stay here again!
As diamond members we have stayed at various hotels within the Hilton chain. This was the first time we encountered front desk people who weren’t friendly or welcoming. First we thought maybe the woman was just having a bad day. We arrived early & checked our bags & went out for the afternoon. Coming back a different person was at the desk. Same perfunctory manner. The only pleasant person was the woman who serviced the breakfast buffet on Sunday. She was pleasant welcoming & helpful. When we checked out I thought the total was high so I pulled up my original confirmation. Sure enough we were charged the Saturday nite rate for both nights. The confirmation showed a significantly lower rate for Sunday. It was quickly adjusted but it simply never should have happened. The hotel is fine - hallway carpeting looks old & stained but the carpeting in the room looks new. The room was clean & the bed was comfortable. The ac/heat was difficult to control. It automatically switches from warm air to cool air and we found it hard to get it to stay at a comfortable temp. We missed having sweet rolls/muffins at breakfast but the raisin bread was outstanding - not your usual national brand kind. We appreciated the use of paper rather than styrofoam. Just make sure to check your bill.…
